woah woah i never said it was a fact. obviously it can backfire and experience is a good thing in the tourney. nobody is doubting that Memphis has SLU beat in experience and athleticism. I'm just saying that i personally would like to think that a team who hasn't been there for awhile will have a little extra motivation than a team who has been there time and time again. thats not to say that a first round loss didn't hurt for your guys last year either and that they aren't motivated i just think SLU has the possibility to use that for a little something extra. especially since we thrive on out hustling other teams as it is

the car ride over there will probably be the worst part of all. especially for those who wait til gameday to drive

yea but I would also hope that it means more when your team's last appearance was 12 years ago as opposed to just last year

bottom line is that this game means way more to SLU than it does to Memphis
