  1. Keep spinning it all you want.....so i guess the refs not only are able to screw you with fouls but they know exactly who to call the fouls against. Priceless.
  2. Saying we beat you by 4 is 'not an accomplishment' only belittles your own team. Way to go! You beating Illinois-Springfield by 10 at home with a 30-15 FT advantage isnt exactly impressive either. Neither is losing at Loyola Suckamount. But according to you apparently you are on the way to a national title provided the refs dont screw you..........whatever. I'd really like to wish you good luck and i really enjoyed watching your team win the 76 tournament but many of your 'fans' are making it quite hard. I like to root for the 'non bcs' as much as possible. You all should too. Good luck in the A10 and i hope you do well despite the BS i've seen on this board.
  3. No, we dont obviously know it. To see the meaning of "delusional' please look in the mirror. You wouldnt win 7 out of 10 at the Pit. whatever. Tried to be positive and friendly on my post only to have a few of you attack for no reason. Blaming the refs and whining simply reveals YOUR inferiority complex. Take the loss like men and like your coach. Quit being whiny b**tches, its not becoming of you. You have a good season ahead of you so quit looking in the rear view mirror. The more you blame the refs the less respect anyone has for you. I guess Illinois Springfield would beat you 7 out of 10 if it werent for the refs either right?? What was your excuse at Loyola Marymount? Got tired of playing in California? Majerus too busy sitting on the beach eating Veal Parmegian and didnt have a game plan? Lose with some class. You shot 3-18 from the three point line. You lost. move on. Tried to be nice, but Feel free to think what you want going forward as we have scoreboard and you can go play with your coolo's.
  4. Your original comment was 'dominate', not 'beat' - way to backpeddle...... apparently you need the reassuring about your team. Sure you could beat us on a neutral floor.....no one is saying you couldnt. You could also lose to us on a neutral court. Both teams are 12-2. both are in the top 60 in rpi. Both need good wins as both are in non bcs conferences. If you dont want to be 'impressed' with the Lobos and just ***** about the refs and dream that your team is invincible unless the refs screw you then that's your problem. Im sure Illinois-Springfield (are they even DI?) and Loyola Marymount (176 rpi) arent impressed with you either. I think SLU is a good team but you dont look anywhere as good lately as you did in the 76 classic, while we have gotten much better since then.
  5. "dominate" on a neutral court? You couldnt dominate vaunted Illinois-Springfield in the 'Fetz'(and shot 30 FT's to their 15 so i guess they got screwed too right?). You lost - you have a good team. Enjoy the rest of your year. Enjoy the fact that ESPN's Andy Katz said SLU was in a "win win" situation playing in the PIT by either winning OR losing a close one, which you did. Blaming the refs is petty and childish and, unfortunatly, typical of many over-passionate sportsfans (ours included). How do i know refs dont matter that much? We beat NMSU on their home court by 20, and they shot 35 FT's to our 20........... They also shot 38 FT's ON OUR COURT earlier this year when they beat us in the 2nd game of the season. Apparently we got jobbed on our own court that night? Let it go. Continue your good season as you should, now that Dayton is short a player and Xavier has fallen off the map apparently the conference appears to be up for grabs.
  6. I guess Illinois Springfield got 'hometown'd" as SLU shot 30 Ft's to their 15....? And who in the heck Illinois-Springfield and how did they even have a second half lead AT SLU???? I guess we (UNM) got homer'd at home earlier this year when NMSU beat us and they shot THIRTY EIGHT FT's on our floor (to our 27)? Here is proof refs dont mean as much as you all would care to admit: NMSU proceeded to shoot THIRTY FIVE Ft's at their building 3 weeks later to our 20, AND WE STILL WON THE GAME BY 20! So dont beotch about the refs- if we can beat a good team in a rivalry game on the road while getting outshot by 15 at the line -by 20 points mind you- you all could have won too despite the FT issue. Sometimes it's the style of play of the other team leads to FT disparity (NMSU leads the nation in FT attempts and % of points scored at the line; but they cannot shoot outside so they pound and grind and get to the line)bascially what we just did to SLU cause we only attempted 7 threes; we forced the issue and got to the stripe. SLU was content to jack up threes even though they werent going down. BTW just watched a replay and Greenwood MUGGED KM clean in the lane......
