Because would you want people throwing out your name if it is not true?  We should not be putting the names out there if they have the slightest chance of being wrong.

We will find out soon enough im sure.... from an official source.

Sure as long as I could be exonerated because I didn't do anything. I would love a courtesy PM if possible.

  2. This is the most corrupt NCAAs ever. Refs making calls to protect every high seed and prevent any upsets. Just awful. Rhody screwed just like all the other upset minded teams.

Wisconsin got let through only because they are big10

Might as well be WWE right now.  Freethrow differences are laughable

  3. Ford is proving that he is indeed a coach who can handle the "Xs and Os" which was his biggest criticism. He has outcoached many of his opposite numbers and the fact this team is winning games at all with the talent level out there is quite amazing.  Look at mizzou, with vastly more talent in an SEC that really is not much better than the A10. Ford would coach circles around Anderson.

  4. I nearly went to undergrad at "Nova in the late 1980's. Applied, accepted, visited campus... but did not go. Fresh off Rollie M's surprising title, excitement was still on campus the following year. Also on campus was an artificial turf football field named after donor DuPont who created and donated to 'Nova the then newest style of turf (yes, no D1 football but still college football) as well as a new indoor sports complex which house half their home games (8,000 going off memory) which could be re-arranged to allow for full size indoor track for their track team. Nice and modern swimming pool along with weight and training rooms, etc. No comparison with SLU. And while we were happy and content with our training in West Pine gym and that closet in which a universal weight set was jammed inside, playing our games off campus and thinking we are top tier b/c we joined the Great Midwest, 'Nova was having success in the Big East on Monday nights while raking in much more money than we could even imagine. No, we were asleep at the switch, did not make sports a priority, did not invest in our facilities until way too late. The same can be said about Marquette, X, Gonzaga, etc. who were engaged in the race for modern D1 sports while we were asleep on the sidelines.

Again, it all starts at the top. We were lead by Fr. Biondi who never made sports a priority and then who even had the nerve to then meddle, frustrate and hinder the sports programs over the years. What's done is done. We have new facilities, new leadership, we paid a buyout for a coach who had 2 years left and we hired a new, proven D1 head coach. We are way behind but at least we are engaged and awake from our long slumber.

Thank you, this is exactly what my post was trying to say.

  5. If you would have been rich, beautiful, and smart, you wouldn't have had so many problems in life. But instead you have been mired in mediocrity other than some undeserved breaks in life. What you could've been...

Some of you guys confuse me on this board. Perhaps looking at things objectively is frowned upon here. I don't have any problems in life. Speak for yourself

  6. If SLU had taken basketball seriously consistently over the years since the Easy Ed days, we could be Villanova. A fluke title in the 80s, and now tonight a dominant run.

Similar profiles. Catholic school, enrollment 10-15 thousand, no D1 football. But instead we are mired in mediocrity other than flashes with Spoon and Rick. What we could've been.......

  7. Lol the and 1 call was bull**** but no excuses blowing a lead that big. They turned it over on 4/5 possessions in the last 40 seconds. Meltdown. St. Joe's was up 58-52 before seriously wilting also. Shame

Yep. He was GETTING OUT OF THE WAY and the called it. And St. Joes...i mean you wonder what these coaches are doing. Jacobsen, Martelli..just total disasters in crunch time. But ANY opening the refs get to help the big boys they take it. I hope Sabonis and the zags blow everyone out all the way to the title.

  8. First of all, I am not trying to make excuses for UNI. That was INSANE. If anything, you heave the ball into the rafters there.. BUT... the foul call that gave A and M an and 1 was not a foul. And on the last possession, Washpun was being mugged. No Call. Walkup was fouled twice on the last possession for SFA...no call. Both times when Jackson was patted he got 2 shots for ND. It becomes more and more apparent mid majors are not welcome. You have to do what Gonzaga did and blow someone off the court to win.

  9. I think there were smiles from the Big Man up in heaven today. Tom Izzo and all his dirty paying off of refs couldn't help him this time. I'll never forget how Rick's chance was stolen by Izzo and those corrupt refs in 2012. A historic 15 over 2 upset was just what the doctor ordered. Think how much money changed in vegas on that game. Gnight Izzo....
