  1. The more we lose the more I start to agree.

Thanks. Ill add you to the list of people who "finally realize Mr JoeLabs isnt and never was a troll" I simply saw this coming from miles away and most of you for some reason wanted to defend this man. I bleed billiken blue and haven't missed a game since the 90s but this is awful and a disgrace. CYC coaches run a better offense.

My banning for my original post of is Crews the answer looks more laughable by the day. He isnt the answer and never was. We had a prefab home style team for 2 years that operated a system taught by a previous coach and an old man who just monitored the action in practices and did guide them through tragedy, his biggest positive.. Now that the old man has to start from scratch...hes got nothing.

  2. Frankly I am still shocked at all the optimism. I thought we showed more flashes early in the season. Aren't players supposed to get better with coaching and play at a higher level toward the end of the season. I honestly don't know what we are doing out there. But my patience ran out with the Fordham game. Our rpi is 250+ and we absolutely deserve it

They are getting WORSE because Crews doesn't have a clue...and never has. Think back to last year. So many close almost losses. Only reason we pulled any out was because Jett took over and did it himself. Crews didn't have a clue then either. Players are REGRESSING

  3. Crews didnt make ash slip TWICE at the end.

Crews didnt make Marcus make SHite passes.

He didn't coach them up to not make said mistakes either. Or have different sets and gameplans to avoid that. Or call timeouts to rally em up..etc. At the end of the day, the coach is responsible. Look at Kentucky. They should've lost tonight and many other games and are rather overrated. But in crunch time the right players, right sets and right calls are made because they have a skilled coach even if he is a cheating slimeball with recruiting. But he knows how to get the best out of his guys when it counts

  4. Its not worse than the 20 point game. GW was at least some kind of team. This was FORDHAM. Why is not allowed for billikens "fans" to criticize things and state the obvious. That was easily the worst loss since 2000. Based on where the team had gotten to, what it represents now, and how awful Fordham is on defense.

If Crews had any class he would have resigned after the game. Its tantamount to Duke losing to something like East Carolina

  5. 30-27 UMass at half.

That was a terrible first half of basketball, but this is still a winnable game.

Catch the rebounds, use an 8 man rotation max, which must include Crawford, and stop flipping the coin at the 5.

Yep, awful. Anyone else still think Ben Jacobsen (huge lead over WI STATE at the half) isn't the answer here? SLU needs to offer him the farm this off-season and wave Crews goodbye.

  6. Cusumano did allude to the fact that the NCAA was sniffing around about some possible stuff during the Haith era. What a surprise. Not sure if that is a factor. There were SO many scandals the guy survived, I'm not sure one more would have had much impact. It really became the norm there.

The swimmer girl committing suicide most likely was what took care of him. He did nothing about that whole situation.
