Agree with willie.
Back in the late 70's, I wanted to hire the Rickma.
When he was hired at SLU, willie told me I got my wish.
Even though a little late.
Was not sure about the TF hire.
Good recruiter, questionable bench coach.
After this year, I am on board.
The UK alums in Fl. are extremely high on TF.
They follow the Bills closely.
The future looks great.
Trollpants ^^
Trying to start out on a good note with his new profile.

They are currently building a new facility closer to campus. The facility is going to be very nice - close but still not on campus.
That new facility is on the complete opposite side of the city. Closer to campus than the Allstate Arena, but definitely not close.
It is a very nice place though.

This announcer duo on the NBC Sports feed of Kaplan and whoever the other guy is is unbearable.

Virginia Tech just took down #5 Duke. VT was receiving votes in the updated rankings released this morning. They should easily be a top 25 team next week.

My opinion is that Jesus himself is a pedophile. It's just my opinion...it's not based on any real research or actual fact-checking. Just my opinion.
Now please go post this in a widely read publication without mentioning that it's your opinion.

So you can publish straight up lies and it's all good because you call them your opinions? That's cool. #FireJesus

If it's basketball would a CBI invite help tale time off the suspension for next season.
Does it even continue over to next year?
The suspension isn't defined in number of games. It's two calendar months. He's kicked from everything SLU related for two months, basketball and class.

I'm not about to spend too much time trying to interpret social media posts of a 19-year old, but last night Goodwin tweeted a pic of him, French, Foreman, and Bess during the VCU game. Seems like he at least still thinks he's a Billiken.
Or he is just trying to soak it all up while it lasts (blue font, he's not going anywhere)

Damn. I was excited to see him get some time with the Bulls. The league must be really down on Willie if a rebuilding team like Chicago won't take a flier on him for a few months.
Coincidentally, I compared what Willie should have received to what Cristiano Felicio received from the Bulls - 4 years, 32 million during the offseason. Felicio is probably the worst player on that team too.
Felicio is pathetic, so is his contract. Got sent down to the G-League again today.

Jaylen Adams is not human. Cocky as sh!t... but continuing to make every shot he takes.

Yikes. That amount of pay is the equivalent of a gently used Bentley.
Worth noting, this is not a new case, but is the result of the incident occurring in Miami last year. Looks like they worked just as quickly as SLU's Title IX team. http://www.nba.com/article/2018/02/06/willie-reed-detroit-pistons-suspended-official-release/#/

College Football for me. I have never watched much because I never had a team that I cared for, while pro sports and college basketball were enough to keep me occupied. Now that I no longer have a college bball team, I'll start seeking out a football team to follow. Any suggestions?

It is true he did many great things in his life.
Unfortunately the twelve Federal indictments he had really disappointed me.
He was someone I looked up to as a great Saint Louisan and businessman.
Unfortunately when the Federal indictments came down he was knocked off the pedestal I had put him up on.
I don't think he is an example you would want SLU grads to emulate after the Federal indictments. Sans the indictments - yes. Unfortunality in totality - no.
Fair and balanced.
you. are. the. worst.

You are wrong. Playing college basketball is a privilege, not a right. Student Athlete's need to be held to a HIGHER standard than the rest of the student population.
They are representatives of the University.
The players allegedly made a poor choice of having sex with women who they weren't on the same page as to whether the sex was consensual or not. If this were not true then there would be no investigation.
The players let their teammates, coach and fans down with the poor choice that they made.
Allegedly putting the encounter online and sharing it through the University was incredibly STUPID.
So stupid in fact you have to wonder if you would want them back at the University.
Unless you are a fan of the basketball team and only care about wins/losses.
Troll's daily post limit was used up before 8am. Sign of more good things to come today.
Go Bills.

Go to North Carolina, I hate to say it but they never heard of SLU. Everyone says when I say where I went to school, "oh, you went to WashU".
Don't even have to go that far... try Chicago. Nobody outside of the Catholic high schools know that SLU is a thing.

Tilmon fouled out in six minutes of play tonight.
Barnes had 19 tonight for Indiana St in a loss to Auburn.
He fouled out on Monday as well, in 10 minutes. 10 fouls and 4 turnovers in his last 16 minutes of play.

Tatum looking great in the first game of the season. Going to get quite a bit of playing time now that Hayward is out for at least a few months.

If your kid ever has doubts about their ability to obtain their dream job, show them one of Hochman's articles. Honestly, it blows my mind that this guy is paid to write. His articles are all over the place and never have structure.
It is not my intention, but every time I read his articles I naturally end up reading it in a Jim Rome voice/speaking style.
His ratio of periods to words has to be one of the highest in the biz.

So ESPN just copied week old information, passing it off as "Breaking News", and suggested that players were suspended, before taking that part out of the story?
Solid journalism all around.
What we have come to know and love about ESPN over the past decade. They are crumbling.

I did a little digging, I was wrong (I might have been thinking about the business school's ranking being #64ish).
This site shows a list from 2008-2015 of each school and how their rankings have changed: http://publicuniversityhonors.com/2015/06/13/u-s-news-national-university-rankings-2008-present/
Here is an updated chart showing 2010-2017: http://publicuniversityhonors.com/2016/09/18/average-u-s-news-rankings-for-126-universities-2010-1017/
So, since 2008, #80 was our peak, in 2009. Not sure about the years before that though.

Question for everyone:
What's the highest that you have seen SLU ranked by US News? When was it?
I could have sworn we were around #64 back in 2008ish.
Maybe one day we can get where Loyola has gotten

I don't disagree with most of this, but I believe Tatum did take an official visit to SLU.
