Good news, I guess. I still do not like the provisions given to WR. Has anyone heard about these other issues until now. Another classless statement by the University. Do they make it a habit throwing their athletes under the bus? WR should tell SLU to shove it and would not blame him.

Isn't Dayton one of the preseason favorites? Also, the A10 is a pretty good, athletic conference that exposes teams with inferior talent. We are currently built like a Valley team. KM and WR makes us a A10 team.

I understand that but I would be embarassed, as a player, if my coach said I lost a game because I saw blood. Just a thought.

Redshirt WR and KM and have them for the next 2 years. Use this time to develop our players for next year and then watch out. Boy did PM not look comfortable at the helms.

Went to Mizzou then transferred. It was William Fontleroy that you are referring to by the way. THE Missouri State is tacky and no real Bears fan wants to sound like a stuffy Buckeye fan.
Maybe I should change my name to Franchise_TarHeel and defend my Blue Devils to Wolfpack fans. Enough, you should have stayed in Boone County.

That's sad. Sweet Sixteen in 1999. Final Four in women's bball in 2001. CWS appearance in baseball in 2003. All pretty impressive. If you can't see that, then it is pointless to reason with you.
And the one dude was bragging about Dayton winning the NIT. That's irrelevent. No one pays attention to that on a national level.
I am confused why a guy name Mizzoumike is defending THE Missouri State University. UMC wont play MSU either since last time they played they got smoked and Al Fontleroy won an ESPY dunking on Albert White. UMC has been trying to hold MSU down for years so make up your damn mind. BTW, no one still cares about WBB other than Lady Bears fans.

Glad I did not watch or dvr the game. It does help our SOS. The sad thing is that when Duke pulls its starters, the next 5 are McDonald all-americans. At least they did not have over achieving white guard slapping the floor.

It is sad to see the lack of SLU gear around town and the amount of ugly black and puke gold available. Where is the marketing by the university? I have seen good stuff at Finish Line but that is about it.

I was worried this would be a trap game as we looked forward to Duke. Why couldn't we play Kansas? I hate Duke and I certainly don't want to get waxed by them.

Johnny, not even close to what I am saying. It's hard to build a fan base when "bullsh*t" gets in the way time after time. 1 or 2 years do not make a program, but we continue to have moments but not substained success. The players have no control of the administration. Glad we have beautiful empty stadium.

Why should students/fans care? Once we get a good team and build anticipation, we get bent by some ethics board. At least we aren't UMC and feel we are owed success.

I should not be able to hear Guy Phillips during play unless he is saying the name of the player who just scored. It sounds so amateurish. Billikens D!

A freshman big man scored 19. Usually young big men fall over their own feet for the first few years. I say let them play because a program at SLU's level cannot recover from having their two best players TAKEN from them. It should be fun to watch these kids develop. I will take this team over any Lisch, Liddell led team easily. I will take what we can now. Feels like November 2008.

Some times you need to sacrifice some morality if you want a good athletic program. See every Division I school other than SLU.

Well we all know how much we hate the Spiders and Dukes. I heard Vitale is doing both of the home and home series games instead of Duke and whoever they are playing
