I did however accidentally hit him in the face while handing him a rather large framed Budweiser mirror as he was in the middle of doing the live auction for my fraternity....so I got that going for me...which is nice.

Agreed. I"ve paid for my tickets...I will cheer as I see fit. I figure as long as my cheering doesn't involve kicking anyone in the face to express my excitement, it shouldn't be a problem.

NextYearBill, Super awesome comments regarding fraternity members that heckle the Blue Crew! Not counterproductive at all! I'm new to the board so I might have missed it, but since your so passionate about this issue, I hope you also ripped Guy Phillips for calling out the Blue Crew over the PA a few weeks ago? I've watched and had to listen those incredibly annoying guys every game this year. While I'll give you the fact that they are major d-bags and an embarrassment, they are doing nothing different to the Blue Crew that you aren't doing to them on this board. That whole "freedom of speech" thing can be pretty tricky every once in a while. You may hear something you don't like. Maybe I'm taking this too hard because you've reminded me that I too bought my friends while I was at SLU, but so did a few players and mascots I know along the way. I'm also pretty sure that a great many of the season ticket holders, myself included, were also "dumb enough to join a SLU fraternity." During a rough season, frustration can and will pervade a fan base. Those with little intellect will always anything and everything...coaches, players, and even "the 6th man" whose attendance or lack thereof has little to do with the team's lack of depth and size. These hecklers may be unbearable to watch and hear at games... (and no offense to this year's Blue Crew) at least they are there. Winning fixes everything. In a packed house, these guys would become an afterthought.
