I didn't mean to imply that it would be. All I was saying as this team has added no immediate impact players and it lost IV. As it stands right now they are not as good.
I don't have a problem with the coaching change, but I do have a problem with the timing.

I posted that yesterday. The person I talk to now believes he didn't find out till yesterday morning. Sorry for the confusion. We won't know for sure I guess till the involved start talking.

I think 16 is about right. This team is not as good as last year as it stands right now, but it is not horrible.

I think he would be one of the best hires out of what I think are the realistic canidates. But, he has turned down chances to interview for other D-1 jobs becuase the situation wasn't right. I think he would need some convincing that this is the right fit for him. I think it could be done, but I do not believe it would be automatic.

The problem is that Biondi did not have the track record then as he does now when it comes to lieing to coaches. That is what cracks me up about all the Jay Spoonhour talk. Jay would love to interview for this job because it would be a big step up from interviewing for UMKC and SEMO. Jay, I don't believe, would ever take this job after what his dad endured here. He will definitely be looking for a place that is nothing like this.

Biondi is not taking the program more seriously. He is treating it like a little project of his. Any coach will have a hard time believing anything told to him by Biondi. Not one of the former men's bball coaches during Biondi's tenure has much if anything good to say about him. He has lied to them all. It will take a ton of money to overcome that preception and that is one thing SLU doesn't have right now.

After the negative reaction to the press release only policy on the firing, Biondi plans now to communnicate all future basketball information using smoke signals. He is really excited about the possibilities of this mostly forgatten technology. He says that the signals are a major improvement over the teams current TV deal and will be able to be viewed by more people than that package. Also he likes that it will be like the selection of the pope and it is fitting because he believes he his more important than the pope.

Sounds an awful like the writing from a former poster on here. He posted under multiple names and one of his favorite topics was IV/Brad relationship. I believe he is now banned. He claimed under one id to be someone on the staff he wasn't. Looks like he moved to a new board. I saying right now it is bs.

Before they go declaring he is the guy. He would be a good hire for SLU despite his age. Make sure he will take the job first.

Come on Moy you know his interview on the news is going to be priceless. You know he had to throw in at least three words that that will leave 99% of audience going what the fnck did he just say. Doc should be left alone for a while just for that coming 10 on the unintentional comedy scale.

I just hope Biondi doesn't all of sudden belive he is a basketball expert and decided this on his own. He already thinks he is an art expert and I think he has shown he is not.

Well considering Monson already took a job either Bernie or whoever his feeding him his has no idea what they are talking about. Also no way Grant leaves VCU for here. He will wait for the perfect opening.

There is been no press conference, but rather only a statement that includes these lines "The University does not anticipate making any additional comments concerning its decision to make a coaching change. Information concerning the head coaching search will be communicated in the weeks ahead."
Nice to let your fans, alumni, season ticket holders, some boosters, faculty, and your student body what the hell is going on.

The part about part about AT taking over on interim basis was not in the original post. Also I wis I would have copied the original post because it does not read the same. Maybe I am just reading to much into it because I am shocked. I would have a hard time believing Brad actually broke any rules.

The more I think about this the more I am starting to wonder. They have changed the post already on the web site. So it looks like this was done quickly. I had a friend tell me about the fact they have raised money that could cover the buyout, but that friend is shocked by what happened today. I mean shocked.

If it is true I really don't see what choice Biondi had. They need the building paid for. I still don't like the timing. It should have been done a month earlier or a month later.
