  1. I don't have a problem with the firing in and of itself. If it was my decision I probably wouldn't have done it, but the decision would have been close. I do have a problem with the timing and everthing since.

What is clear to me is the fact that a group of boosters and Biondi have decided they are better suited to run the basketball program than Levick. It is a gutsy bet and I hope it pays off, because if it doesn't we are screwed. They have not installed any confidence in me so far.

If it fails we have lost an AD, alienated other boosters, alienated a large part of the fan base, will get mocked non-stop by the local media, laughed at nationally, and will have a huge hole to dig out of. A similar situation happened at MU awhile back and it didn't turn out very well.

  2. Recent tounament history including a number one seed and an elite eight run. The school is situated in a much better area to recruit players than SLU. It has been shown it can be done there on a big level recently. THose levels haven't been achieved here in almost 60 years.

  3. It better be near the top of your list. If you care about the school it should be high. If you care about athletics it should be high. The school has tapped out many of the long time donors as much as they can and much expand the group of big and small donors. SLU has for a while been graduating classes that are over 50% percent female. It is not a good thing to leave a bad impression in that large group of how you treat your female employees.

  4. What I was pointing out is the fact that this could hurt them when it comes to raising funds from females. They do not like this kind of treatment and will remember it happening to CL a lot longer than any guys will. Slu has been turning out more female graduates for a while. Wives on average live longer than their husbands and end up controling estates. So when it comes to this, yes the gender matters.

  5. If CL, as appears to be the case, was left at of the loop on this.... fundraising from females. If I was a female I would not be to happy with the torpedoe job on CL. I would really wonder about SLU if this is how SLU treast it's most high profile female employee. This could have a long-term negative impact on the university. I have heard female caller upset about her treatment on the radio and it was mentioned to me at work today. The ladies definitely notice this kind of lack of respect.

  6. The longer the silence the worse they look. They better have been 8 million reasons for the change occurring. This is looking more and more like amateur hour. If you make this move, at this time you better have a plan. It sure in the hell looks like they have none. I can't wait to pony up my money for next season, which is now looking like it has been completely written off.
