why was dave ward so ineffective?

i read in the post that DeSmet won. Did anyone attend this game and tell me how this turned about and who looked good in the game

ive seen this kid play several times. He wont be a bad player. I dont think you can compare him with leonard quite yet tho maybe next yr. What i saw looked like he played more of a 4 than a 2. He has good skills and will proboly develope into a nice player

vianney won big in this game paul couldnt be stoped in the first putting up 25. Star Watch DESMET Dave Ward-(Sr)played alright on offense but didnt defend well Mike Kalicak(Sr)- didnt have one of his better games was not playing team ball Jarod Leonard(So)- played well got in some foul trouble but i was impressed with his moves. VIANNEY Brandon Beal(Sr)- dominated dave ward P Pauradowski(Sr)- played best game of anyone Dave Stewart(So)- he wont show up in the box scores a lot this game but played solid

jarods first game at desmet was decent he started but didnt play as well as i thought he would. he looked very athletic but he didnt shoot that much. he looked like he was taking the passing role in the game. maybe leonard isnt as good as everyone was hyping him up to be.... only time will tell

i just saw and talked to the leonard kid at an open gym in kirkwood last week. He looked like he has grown and put on weight he seems to be about 6'6. His game looked realy good. he said "i'm very excited with the Bills even looking at me its an honor, i would love one day to be in the bill Blue like my dad was" this is good news for the class of 2006

i talked to coach and he said for his future recruits that soph jarod leonard from desmet is high on his list does anyone ANYTHING about this player?
