Disagree about defense.Lots of steals. I believe he made the all defense team in the NBA. Always drew Koby.If anything he was a better defensive player then offensive.

agreed.Larry would have broken every SLU record except rebounding had he played 4 years.The only thing Hughes wasn't great at was 3-point shooting, but he could do just about everything else. Not a knock on DE, but he's not Hughes. Larry could single-handedly win games. Evans is more of an outstanding player, but within the framework of a structured team.

I think Grandy will be fine. He does't put it on the floor and he gets rid of it quickly.

Obviously recruiting at SLU is a question that we don't have an answer for but I don't see how anyone can be critical of the job Crews has done with this team. We currently are playing as we'll as any SLU team has ever played. While he didn't seem engaged early on that is no longer an issue. His use of Grandy and Jake in my opinion has been brilliant. I think his substitution patterns have been very good. He even yelled at the refs last night. Team chemistry appears fantastic. Should he be rehired? I don't know but I don't see how he can be faulted for the job he's done.

i think that rule has changed and you no longer get a minute to make your substitution. You are supposed to get a player in promptlylast night, when loe fouled out and the final run hadnt started yet by the billikens and charlotte was still very much in the game, why not use that minute to announce your sub to have a word with your team. no impromtu free T.O. i can understand saving them, but when you get a free one you have to use or lose, my gosh, go out and calm your players. -
I don,t know if Lou was a great bench coach or not,(I kind of thought he was) but I always appreciated the fact that he wouldn't put up with Norm Stewards bull .

Speaking of Manning he certainly is not afraid to shoot the ball. That baseline jump shot 10 seconds into the shot clock with no rebounders was terrible.

I think this whole conversation is kind of silly. As long as Grandy puts up the numbers he has in the last 2 games he will play. If he doesn't,produce we will see Corey again.CR has struggled what, like 2-3 games? I think he offers us more than GG. And can we even it call it struggling if he only played 3 min? -
If the Bonnie's turn this into a foul game Grandy has to come out. Of course if they do that their whole team will foul out.

I was at the Bills game there 2years ago. The place was amazing,not for the building but for the energy. When coach K walked into the court you would have thought Jesus came back from dead. I'm going to the Butler game and anxious to compare Hinkle to Cameron.

This account is factually incorrect.He'll yes a lot of people gave money but this was not a huge Biondi priority. Biondi did not go to an Andy Taylor type and say how about 10 million for this arena, he left it to Mike Shannahan who was only moderately successful getting a few million from his friends.

Crews wanted energy and we should give him credit for the decision. Do I think Grandy is a skilled player? No. But I think we lack energy and toughness. I thought we could replace Brian but we haven't. Maybe a little Grandy is what this team needs. We have been lacking energy.
