Good points.The other thing (that may have been noted already) is that Calbert isn't coming here on the cheap. I am sure he was making a pretty nice chunk at Indiana even at a basketball ops level. Hopefully this is a sign that Crews got some concessions regarding assistants pay with his new contract.

Monroe was SLU's version of David Thompson. Throw the ball to the hoop and Monroe would throw it down. I think I'll watch "sitting on a jam session" . Beats preseason football.

I think our staff does a good job but remember these guys are kids making small dollars. They work at SLU for a few years then leave for more money elsewhere. Don Draper they are not. There is no easy solution or it would have been done already. I would like to see some type of door program where if you know your not going to use your tickets they can be given to kids.

DE was a marked man at the end of the year. It didn't matter. I thought he handled the double teams he saw at the end very well. It's up to mike and company to hit the outside shot when Dwayne passes out.

This staff is recruiting off the fact that we have been a very good team the last 2 years. Previous staff's didn't take advantage of the limited success a few teams had. Our reputation is good and Crews is taking advantage of it. Keep the ball rolling.

Boston is in a total rebuilding mode. They will not win for a couple of years. How much time will they give Stevens? I wouldn't bet a whole lot of money that he will be there in 3 years.Stevens is a totally different situation than Pitino. Comes from a different background and is for more willing to adjust himself to the NBA game than Pitino. Stevens will win at the next level.

I think it's great. Will he be a good player? Who knows but you got to love the size and we definitely need size for that class. I also like the idea of a local kid jumping on our offer. We will know 2 or3 years from now but I think Crew's recruiting has been stellar.

I do wish they would call walking and do away with the continuation foul.you forget, fouls go both ways. over the backs, charges, call the travels and palming. plus as i said, before, defenses would lay off and zones would block the lanes. i think you exagerate the scoreboard results.
