ABOUT THE LIONS Lindenwood enters Monday night's contest 1-1 overall. The Lions opened the season Nov. 4, falling 98-60 at 10th-ranked Texas Tech. Lindenwood captured its first win of the season the last time out, topping Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis 116-51. Mekhi Cooper, a transfer from Miami (Ohio), scored a team-high 15 points at Texas Tech. Milos Nenadic and Robert Lewis posted double-doubles against the Red Raiders. Last season, Lindenwood won 16 games, the most in a single season in the Division I era and the most wins for the program since 2018-19. The Lions were picked to finish fifth in the 11-team Ohio Valley Conference. Jadis Jones started all 33 games last season as a freshman and averaged 12.5 points and 5.8 rebounds. He was named OVC Freshman of the Week 12 times, setting an OVC record. Kyle Gerdeman is in his seventh year at the helm of the Lindenwood men's basketball program in 2025-26.
