bills16 Posted March 16, 2004 Share Posted March 16, 2004 i was coming home a few minutes ago and had who radio on out of des moines and the steve alford show was and the play-by-play guy said a crowd of about 5,000 was expected for the game tomorrow nite. of course last year iowa hosted a first round game against valpo and they drew about 3,000 for that game. bills16 Posted March 16, 2004 Author Share Posted March 16, 2004 i'm not sure about spring break but they did have to play the day after the pairings came out so it was less than 24 hours but that is still pathetic. iowa state has sold over 10,000 for their game on wed against georgia and this a men's women's doubleheader for the wnit and nit.
