SLUNATE Posted January 29, 2004 Share Posted January 29, 2004 While we didn't play the strongest game last night, we also could not catch a break. I was just depressed after watching it. I'm not sure that CUSA is going to get five teams, more like four. I thought it was crucial to beat the 49ers, because they are looking pretty strong, and have some high brow wins to talk about. At this point, I think we HAVE to steal a game from Louisville or Cincy AND beat Marquette at home to take a bid. If we don't beat the BCats or Cardinals, we have to keep it close. Of course, if we don't take care of business in Birmingham and Memphis, that's a moot point. People have been saying that we only need to win one out of three on the road to stay alive, which I agreed with, if we won last night. Let's get back on track with wins in the next two.
