SLU Fans,
I'm a double Billiken--BA philos & comm' 2000, and MA comm' 2007 [I think; finished it over a summer or winter somewhere around there].
I'm also a new campus minister. And a longtime SLU bball and soccer fan.
This came to me in a revelation-- probably when I was watching Sportscenter this fall. With so many lame college teams' 'hand signs,' why can't SLU have one, too!?
here's what you do: make a diamond shape with your hands [like you are holding a tube and looking through it], then point your index fingers up [as 'ears']. or, another description...
-pointer fingers up! thumbs touch tips, ring fingers and middle fingers touch tips, pinkies just kind of hang out by ring fingers. Looks sorta like the new logo, right? It certainly looks more like a Billiken than the Texas hand sign looks like a longhorn
