also how much do people think billboards cost? It’s pennies compared to other expenditures SLU does for recruitment.

SLU has a 1.1 billion dollar endowment Mizzou has 1.0 for a much larger student population. Mizzou has a drastic loss of epic proportions in student population if you don’t remember and are really struggling

Glad people agree we need more basketball billboards. The state is dominated by Mizzou and SLU has more money than they do.
Also I guess doing well doesn’t exactly translate to recruiting. Loyola didn’t blow up in recruiting after the final four and Memphis just got the number 1 guy after a disappointing first few games

After Mizzou gets demolished in SEC play this year and the new players get on campus this summer SLU has 2020 locked down.
SLU would be dumb to not have a picture of Yuri, Hargrove, Goodwin, Thatch and Gordon on promo billboards around targets high schools. A local lineup like that have not happened in a long time if not ever. And Goodwin started it all taking a chance on Ford.

Mickey Pearson posted that he will sign in the spring period. Does he have any interest in the Billikens? If we crush the A10 he would probably want us again. Still don’t know his reason for leaving. The actual reason.
He would be a ready to play just like Jacobs

You are right. How DePaul remains in the Big East makes no sense to me. I am not hating on SLU obviously but like it’s been said thousands of times we need to leave the conference. I want the Big East but i could settle for the American. It only helps our recognition. A lot of people here live in the A10 bubble but fans of the p5 programs probably can’t match 5 teams in the A10.

I think it would be really hard to scout the Bills players. Everyone can play. One of these days they will target Gordon and French will go off and maybe just go into a cycle. We have too much talent with the ability to go into double digit scoring. Goodwin has a higher ceiling than last year I think.
Our only consistent player is Bess but he is just efficient on offense but rarely has the most shots. His defense is where he shines. Bess will also be healthy Wednesday.
If SLU starts out strong I say SLU by 15. Also if they wear black jerseys

Stop trying to justify the A10 as a high major. No one outside of the A10 thinks highly of this conference. It’s just a fact. A10 is never feared by any p5 opponent. Yes every year they have a few good teams that can hang with the big boys but the conference as a whole screams mid major.

Missouri beat Oregon state and we are much better than Missouri this year. They shouldn’t be a problem.
Kenpom has Florida state at 10
Butler at 30 and Houston at 40

That is a team that can't shoot but can out rebound, jump, hustle, and defend against anyone. That leaves your first guys off the bench as:
Jacobs, Jimerson, Yuri, and Jitoboh (calling it).
I heard Hargrove can shoot but you are right. 1 shooter isn’t enough unless thatch becomes one.

French, Gordon, Goodwin, Thatch with DJ, Thor, and the incoming freshmen fighting for the rest of pt.
The 5th starter completely depends on how Ford wants to run the offense next year at point but I think Thatch fills in Bess’s role and we put a shooter in like Gibson, Thor or Hargrove.

Didnt Butler put 30 on us last year. I would say our last years team is better than Fordhams and this years team is better than Butlers so I say we have a chance for 30
