He started the play with 10 seconds left, they just defended the high pass and his second option was covered. Not much he could do after he picked up his dribble

I love the lead, but Dayton is shooting 28% from the field and that isn't due to our defense. We need to keep our foot on the gas and build the lead in the second half while the Flyers' shots still aren't falling

Milik just dribbled the ball off his foot for at least the second time tonight. Yikes

McBroom takes too many stupid chances on D. Should've given up a wide-open 3 there, but we got lucky that they missed

Love Miles back on the floor. Brings an energy off the bench, first one to help up Ash after he gets fouled going to the hoop. Moves his feet well on D and is active on offense

Really good defense so far

For what it's worth, we shot and missed 7 threes in the first 7 minutes of the second half. From 12:30 on we didn't take a single 3 pointer and we turned a 3 point deficit into an 8 point win. My takeaway from this is that we need to know who we are: we aren't a Rick Pitino team built to chuck 3-pointers all night. We play great D and boring offense, but we can drive the lane and get to the free throw line. Taking the occasional wide open 3 after the defense collapses on a dribble-drive is fine, but this business of settling for 3s with 25 seconds on the shot clock needs to stop.

Disagree. It's not got lucky and were hitting crazy shots, we just played good D, made great halftime adjustments, and got timely big plays for Jordair Jett

Great win. Really turned it up in the second half and smothered Vandy with our D, even on a night where we couldn't hit an outside shot to save our lives
