  1. Pshh, its 50/50. He can be a legend, or a tool. Up to him.

Jayson Legend or Legend Tatum just doesn't sound as good as Larry Legend. There's no alliteration. Of course, we'll be just fine if he says no, but he being FBJT, I thought he deserves better. I thought maybe Towering Tatum but that makes him sound like a C. And then I thought maybe Jayson and the Argonauts for his supporting players while here (that one's not half bad). Finally, I looked legend up in ye ol' thesaurus, but it seems there is a dearth of synonyms for legend that begin with J or T. The best I could come up with was Terminological Inexactitude Tatum, which rolls off the tongue with inexactitude.

  2. So VCU is in the conference, but you can't vote for them. St. Joe's is not in the conference, but you can still vote for Flappy. And 'duh poor Spiduhs? Banished to the patriot league?

SportzEdge - because it's just edgier if you spell it with a zee....Where's 05?

  3. David Janssen I loved that. On a slightly political note, WHY IN GOD'S NAME DID THEY HAVE TO RUIN THE TOMMY LEE JONES VERSION BY MAKING AN EVIL CORPORATION THE BAD GUY! Pissed my off. Still does.

Best line: "I don't care." Tommy lee Jones to Harrison Ford before Ford jumps into the spillway........

Great movie, but I enjoyed the sequel also, though obviously, not as much. Wesley Snipes is no Ryan Gosling is no Harrison Ford. Hic. ;)

    ...Oh so that explains it.

I had always thought that the University of California, Davis, was merely full of aspiring winemakers. However, Live Science informs me that it has a Center for Mind and Brain.

Its researchers have just released a mind-altering piece of research titled "Spontaneous Neural Fluctuations Predict Decisions to Attend." It suggests we may have no free will. Because there isn't any.

Instead, they posit that the notion of free will -- the feeling that you're doing something just because you want to -- is merely the result of electric activity in the brain.

  5. Man it's hard for a casual, unconnected fan to see through all the smoke. I don't think I'd be losing any sleep over it though. Hell, I'd support a good, local kid even if they went to Rolla and played pro for the Grizzlies. I don't know if I can go any further than that though.

That having been said: Yeah Jay, be cool. Go to the home school. Guys like you are the closest we fans here in the Lou can get to the big time.
