There are different degrees of fanaticism. Im a fan of the Hoagie, for instance. Doesn't mean I can't enjoy a 4" round sliced meat sandwich.

Hey no one ever told me if the Siena Saints are eligible for the theoretical new all saints league. How do these rules go exactly?
Oldguy, Im happy you found her alive at least.
Is the Butler game gonna be an annual thing now?
Id rather do DePaul. I woulda dropped out of there had I been able to find their campus. First time I couldnt find it, I was actually there already. Thank goodness that for Fr. Larry B., I had no such problem at Frost. Second time I got lost in Ohare (or was it Midway?) We can kill Blue Demons every time, but Bulldogs can make/take big poos.

Are the Siena Saints eligible?

Ewwwwwwing. Bah.
Should have got Zo and Bo back together as co-coaches. That would have been something to see.

Somebody should have grounded him.

I liked that documentary by that young local filmmaker a few years back, Spanish Lake. The more things change...the more they stay the same. Just think, in 350 years, we'll all be over this. Ebony and ivory, post racial society, yada, yada, yada.

I checked into the Missouri game for about 10 minutes and turned it off what a mess in Columbia.
I think SLU can beat them I wonder what the wiz numbers would show I would probably be surprised and Missouri has a higher rating.
Something like Tigers by 3 but SLU would be playing with 4 and Jake in goal. Ouch.

I'm thinking we should retire Pitbull. Played him an awful lot the year of crews' first recruiting class.

Yeah, on the other side of Euclid from SubZero Vodka bar. You know, the good side.
At the train station, he was on the se lower corner of the 't'. And yes, the sign on the front of the places said, underneath Spoons moniker, a Pasta House restaurant.
If only Tucci were Papa John, we could have some of that sports nuts money. You can bet your hide it wouldn't Chaifetz Arena.

So...will Billikens.com be chartering a bus for the big day?
But hey, think of all the life lessons JC taught us. You know, about worshiping false idols and wait....oops brain fart. ..who are we talking about?
Oh yeah, MBMs are not to be trusted when it comes to evaluating talent. That's something I learned from Jimmy C. On the other hand, it is hard to predict failure so abject.

Let's keep in mind K State is in the mix for all these boys as well. They are having a good season so far. Lost to KU tonight on a buzzer beater. They have offered Smith, Ramey, Watson as well. They have a solid recruiting class next year with Stockard. Sneed is there as well. SLU benefited by Gordon and Goodwin wanting to stay home. Hopefully things turn around next year because these kids will have an eye on all the programs mentioned by you guys.
There'd have some t's called if I'da been there at the end last night

Yes we are worse than DePaul (by a good deal, even). No we won't give up. The schedule will be followed in its entirety, so help us, God.

The question this time being college hoops and being that both teams shoot at essentially the same iron, minus some quantum differences between halves, and most serious basketball injuries involve little blood, and coaches' speeches, soliloquies, and other musings greatly affect the course of play not to mention the psychological effect of extracurricular communication betwixt contestants, and furthermore that majority resolutions of boards of trustees help to broadly determine the general direction of all university functions and divisions including athletic programs, I solemnly declare Otto Van Bismarck hereby banished from any and all present and future conversations regarding said topic, namely college hoops.
Carry on...

Well in my lifetime, the greatest would have to be the win over the Illini at the dome, closely followed by the win over X on Conk's senior night.
I think the Illini win represented the zenith of the ascension of Billiken basketball in the modern era. The actual zenith was probably just a bit before. Then there was a fairly long slow descent followed by a spike to our greatest heights since the white guy/short shorts era, and then a dramatic, truly terrifying, spiraling plunge to the bottom. And now a flat spot in the bottoms, and we're just waiting to see how high and far we go on the next hill.

On substitutions, we don't always go down the bench and give every player a five when coming off. Our players get themselves up off the floor, teammates are rarely sprinting over to help one another up. Our huddles after fouls/the ball going out-of-bounds are half hearted and sometimes we don't even do that. We don't give fives after every free throw.
Anyone else notice this?
Yeah, they're really sucky. But don't despair, 2017 is almost here. Happy New Year's Eve Billsnation!

So how long before we get into the Big East. SiriusXM doesn't carry A10 games regularly. Glad to hear the Johnnies take down the Hinkle Hound Dogs last night driving up from MS last night. Go Bills...beat Stu Griffin.
