  1. (Again, does anyone who says we can be like Marquette and ND and travel to the east coast know if they take charter flights?)

Not sure about football, but the Notre Dame Basketball team takes commercial flights quite often. They took one this past weekend to NYC for the Big East Tourney and due to the weather had to take a bus all the way home.

  2. Can we make a list of the Underdogs that win the conference tournament, thereby eliminating an at-large in a few cases and a NIT bid in all cases.

    Atlantic Sun-

    Automatic NCAA Bid: ETSU

    Automatic NIT bid: Libscomb

    Big South-

    Automatic NCAA Bid: Winthrop

    Automatic NIT bid: Coastal Carolina

    Colonial-

    Automatic NCAA Bid: Old Dominion

    Automatic NIT bid: N/A

    Ivy League-

    Automatic NCAA Bid: Cornell

    Automatic NIT bid: N/A

    MAAC-

    Automatic NCAA Bid: Siena

    Automatic NIT bid: N/A

    Missouri Valley-

    Automatic NCAA Bid: Northern Iowa

    Automatic NIT bid: N/A

    Ohio Valley-

    Automatic NCAA Bid: Murray State

    Automatic NIT bid: N/A

    MCC

    Auto NCAA Bid: Saint Mary's

Auto NIT: None (Gonzaga is in the dance)

Do we consider this an NIT spot gained?

    CAA

    Auto NCAA Bid: Old Dominion

    Auto NIT: N/A

    MAAC:

    Auto NCAA Bid: Siena

    Auto NIT: N/A

    SoCon:

    Auto NCAA Bid: Wofford

    Auto NIT: N/A

Summary: 2 NIT bids taken; maybe 1 gained due to SMC win over the zags

If ever there was a year to make a push into the tourney out of nowhere, this may be it.

  3. We were wondering where you were. We had a good crowd up there and we definitely brought the noise to the Zone. I think it was contagious. As the game went on, folks that I don't think were necessarily there for the Bills were getting into the game.

Yeah I failed... Ill be in NYC next week, but I will actually show up for the next meeting - a postseason game meeting?? - if people are interested?

  4. Backhand has reached out to Majerus and he is coming. He has requested chicken wings marinated in sweet baby james BBQ, 2 Moms Specials from Moms Deli, Bloomin Onion from Outback, and Fried Mac N Cheese Balls from Cheesecake Factory.

Porter has also confirmed. He has requested a 12 pack of Natty Light, tequila, and shot girls.

Also, I've worked it out so that Postcard/Billiphan will be our server. And no, he will not be serving us appetizers from hiding behind his computer...he will actually be there in person handing out drinks, appetizers, and grilling our food. We'll make a man out of him yet.

Have you reached out to spiritofeastsaint so that we can all get into shape for the saintsations i bring??

  5. And for the hell of it, Porter's former HS Benet Academy, begins its playoff run tonight as well. Went undefeated in conference play this season, probably the most successfull team since Porter was actually at Benet. It looks like they are 21-3, #3 in their sectional and play Glenbard North at Geneva tonight. They would end up playing Nequa if both of the teams continue to win.

I hope your boys get monkey stomped hayes. Like the Hoosiers will do to the Big Ten in about 234 years! Watch out!

  6. So Crawford transferred from Indiana? Did he have to sit out a year? If he sat out a year, then I hope he gets his degree this May and has nothing stopping him from turning pro. I don't want to have to deal with that guy again after this March!

    -Sincerely,

Kyle Cassity and all of Billiken Nation

Yes, he sat out last year and the only reason he is still at X after the Sean Miller coaching switch is because he didnt want to sit out another year. God I wish he was still in a Hoosiers uniform.

Odds he leaves are 50-50 as teams are split as to whether or not he is ready to contribute right now. The league can always use scorers however. LETS PRAY.

  7. Femi is a great defender, but Kyle played great defense on crawford all night and he still buried shots. There is a reason many thought he was the most important player at the end of his freshman year on an Indiana team that included Eric Gordon and DJ White, As an IU fan, there were few players I was more excited to see progress than crawford. Unfortunately, my excitement is being realized against my own team...

Kyle did everything and anything he could. Crawford is just that talented.
