  1. The heat is getting very hot on him and he suddently got sick. I think he will be gone soon and if what the kids say is true and due to the blantant overpracticing after having been in trouble for that once, he should he gone. This may be similar to the Clark situation but don't see any similarity with the Majerus case.

  2. -still picking us #1 even with no Rick and we have no one on his pre-season all conf team, we don't have his player of the year or anyone on the 10 that will make a major impact but JM on the 10 breakout list and KC on 10 frosh list, i guess that shows the quality and depth of our roster

-interesting to see him pick x as 10th

There is an unconfirmed rumor on xavierhoops that Myles Davis and Jalen Reynolds will not be eligible. If so it could be a tough year for X. Something they are not used to.

  3. It was a game of truth or dare that resulted in Wells and a female participant to engage in a consensual act. She later felt bad about it and reported it up the chain, saying she didn't want to do it. Xavier kicked him out, and then heard and rejected his appeal shortly thereafter. Hamilton County looked at the case and decided not to prosecute.

Any SLU fan questioning the character of Xavier's players, staff, or administration needs to take a serious look in the mirror.

My understanding is that she gave consent contingent on the use of a condom. But he did not put one on.

I agree on the SLU fans judging others. These are young people with raging hormones. Many make mistakes that they later regret. The woman involved was apparently an RA. Did she get punished?

  4. And my point was that you would have been better off saying "Winning programs are not built..." You wasted words and did what you said you would not do. I understand your point and agree with it. Although one year out of 6 under these circumstances does not mean that SLU is signing kids only in the spring.

  5. You don't walk up to a kid right before the spring signing period and say "hey do you want to come to our school" when other schools have been on him for years.

You seem somewhat delusional on how recruiting works.

Not to mention that winning programs are not built on spring period recruits.

You could have left off the "Not to mention that." because you did mention that. I know you are a freshman and we all have a lot to learn but had to say it.

  6. It seems apparent that the kids love the big guy and he loves them. They will be highly motivated to have a very successful season and I think they will. If he gets a transplant I suppose it is not out of the realm of possibility that he could return. I know his situation is very severe but I had bypass 13 years ago and am doing pretty darn good for an old guy. Modern medicine does some incredible things. I know he has his querks but the man is a genius and has accomplished what I have thought may be an impossible task--bringing the Billikens back to the top. Folks, we are very close. And we have to find ways to build on this, no matter what happens. I believe we will.

  7. This is a patriotic thread. Can we keep the beastiality out of it please? Next thing you know there will be a post about furry kink's. The connection between furr, beaver, and Barbara Billingsley is noted

    You miss spelled pathetic.

  8. The Post Dispatch appears to be slowly going down the tubes. They obviously don't need the support of Billiken fans. I used to read the paper every day. Now I only go to the SLU page and now I probably won't even do that. I noticed this also today and didn't like it at all especially now that we actually are deserving of more attention. Tells you what the paper thinks of SLU athletics.

  9. I realize we all worry that health or some other reason will take Majerus away from us. Without him we are not where we are nor where we reasonably can expect to be in the next few years. I think he will be here as long as his health permits and as long as he is enjoying his experience. He obviously likes St. Louis and Saint Louis University and he really likes his team. I really don't worry much about him leaving because of dissatisfaction because he has had more than one opportunity to leave, more than likely for more money, maybe a lot more money. Maybe I am wrong but I give a lot more credit to Biondi, May, and Chaifetz than many of you do. These are smart and capable men. They all have to relish the success we have had. And want more.
