Billikens hold off Valpo

The Billikens continued their strong shooting to hold off a second half Valporaiso comeback on Saturday night. After having an X point lead at half, Valporaiso cut the lead to 2 with just over 5 minutes to play. Despite a lot of foul trouble, SLU was able to pull out the win: 81 – 70. Goodwin and Jacobs led the Billikens with over 20 points each, and Goodwin and Collins each had at least 5 assists.

The Billikens return to the floor on Wednesday to take on Eastern Washington.
