billikenmetz Posted February 15, 2006 Share Posted February 15, 2006 Bradley beats Southern by 12 in Peoria. Falkner was unstoppable in the first half then cooled off. Tatum was a non-factor. Brooks hardly saw the court. Marcellus Sommerville (on his own bobblehead doll night) led the Braves with 24. A big win for Bradley, a bad loss for Southern and makes SLU's win over SIU pretty much a non-factor in our RPI. Bradley plays Tenn. Tech in a Bracket Buster game on Saturday. On a side note: Spoon provided color for FSN and was in his classic white turtleneck and navy blazer. I yelled at him at halftime and told him we needed Spoonball back at SLU. He then pulled out a crisp $100 bill and said "yeah, right." Ok, that I made up, but he smiled at me and then interviewed Lowry when he came back after the break. Pure class.
