pbill Posted March 16, 2004 Share Posted March 16, 2004 as much as i appreciate jeff gordon's backing of slu and his bashing of mizzou, it annoys me that some of these writers display a lack of knowledge when they make criticisms. in his most recent piece, he makes a sarcastic remark along the lines of "what post-season tourney is belmont playing in." while i think its funny, he should check the facts before saying things like that. belmont actually had a decent rpi - top 100 - and is playing in the NIT. they weren't a bad team, although mizzou should have won by 25. it just takes away some credibility Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
