pooch1918 Posted February 2, 2007 Share Posted February 2, 2007 Realize I'm not breaking new ground here...but watching the closing minutes of last night's St. Joseph's game, I couldn't believe the similarities. TL hadn't done much...but when a tight back and forth game got into the final stretch, they just gave Tommie the ball and let him create for himself---and he was money. Just like Larry and the NCAA tourney win over UMass in '98. NOT SAYING TL is at lottery pick-level yet...but it's the first time since then I've seen that type of performance by a SLU player. p.s.
