  1. This is a not-so-crazy idea:

Assuming the BE doesn’t want VCU because it is a large public university, I believe adding 6 teams, SLU, UD, Belmont, Davidson,

Richmond, and Davidson, makes sense. You could create 4 pods, play each team in your pod twice, play the other teams in the

league once, and you would have an 18 game conference schedule. Also, 5 expansion teams add a major teams add a major tv

market, and Dayton is an okay tv market. Boston, Richmond, Charlotte, Nashville and St. Louis are all sizable markets. With 16

teams, I highly doubt the league would ever have less than 6 teams in the tourney. Granted, the Northeast division would be

    weak currently, things are cyclical.

Northeast: Boston U, Providence, St. John’s, Seton Hall

    East: Villanova, Georgetown, Richmond, Davidson

    Midwest: Dayton, Xavier, Butler, Belmont

    West: SLU, DePaul, Marquette, Creighton

  2. I will be very disappointed to finish at 81 or above. Very Very disappointed to finish at #10 in A19 -- are you kidding me?

The talent is there folks. Stand back and let the big dog eat! We should be in the 40s by Feb. and I do not mean the temperature....

This team has the talent, but will go through some ups and downs early on. The best case scenario would be lose to WSU and Vandy in the out of conference portion of the schedule, squeak by a few bad teams to avoid the RPI killing losses, gel in January and go 11-7 in league play. If they can do this, they will be right on the bubble heading into the conference tourney.

The key to this season will be finding a consistent outside threat (Crawford) that has been lacking the past couple seasons, (thanks for the air-balls, Jake). They won't be as solid defensively, so scoring more points is obviously a must.

    Lob it up.

    Go Bills!

  3. It is a nice arena. I actually lived in Wichita back in 2011 and was at the place for the first minor league hockey game held there. For Wichita, it's a very nice place. The arena hosted a first weekend of the Women's NCAA tourney a couple years ago.
