Jimbo, hope you realize my original statement was not geared towards you but towards the article on Aaric's maturity. He has other problems that have little to do with maturity.
-
Not maturity my friend, just consistently take your meds and you will be fine.

I think we play Florida for all the marbles... Remember this post
+1: NICE

I was talking about the NIT of course.

This is why I would rather lose the first game of the A10 tourney and let our younger players play more in that game. The tourney means nothing to us or to our seeding if we win out during conference play. I do think Crews is not playing AM enough.
McBroom has not looked like himself in the last few games. Wonder if its him having to adjust to defenses trying to force him to put the ball on the deck and not giving him clean catch and shoot?

I couldnt agree more about TL getting more playing time instead of Glaze. Someone said a page or two back in this thread that GG's mistakes were down! WWWWWWWWWWhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttttttttttttttt?????????????? Did that poster happen to see the game we are talking about in this thread? What did GG play in this game? 6 minutes or something like that and what did his line look like? A bunch of zeros with a big 5 in the PF column! TL was a little slow on one close out at the top of the key, but other than that I saw some pretty good D from him and he certainly is more of an offensive threat than Glaze-but then I'm more of an offensive threat than Glaze and at I don't have hands of steel.
Tanner was very late on the one 3 point close out, but was also late on at least 4 other defensive help rotations, but I felt much more secure with him in there as opposed to Grandy. After all he is a far better offensive option
-
-last night viewing on tv I several times implored TL to move on offense, if he was on one side of the floor he seemed to stay there, not our offense
-that said, glad he got minutes
-looking at the recent ft% I hope our team is not wearing out (not trying to be over-dramatic)
+1; hope heavy minutes for the core group all season isn't the reason for shaky free throw % of late.

Good discussion. The staff is very good at what they do. I believe they will have the guys ready.
-
Perhaps an insider can confirm but I've heard from a staffer that that JC and his coaches are VERY high on Reggie for the future.
Have heard replacement for Evans.

Thought the Florida State hype surrounding his transfer to VCU was overblown. Always felt his numbers were result of teams keying on teammates like White, etc. His being closer to 6'6" instead of 6'8" made him less valuable as Mo Alie-Cox has improved.

Coaching staff use of Lancona last night told me they are trying to address the size and athleticism of possible 1 and 2 seeds out there we may have to go through for the chip. Experience has been used to get us the ranking, which impacts seeding, but we will have to play bigger along the frontline in the tournament. Lancona has been MIA for awhile, and then shows up playing big minutes last night even though approximately 12-14 points were scored on him by offensive players. He obviously wasn't on the floor for defensive reasons as the staff resorted defensive and offensive substitution with Manning. Wouldnt be surprised to see Agbeko play big minutes in a tight game in an attempt to get freshman bigs quality minutes in preparation for NCAA tournament. Grandy's and Crawford's minutes have trended downwards.

Van Gundy giving next years team and our incoming class some love... Doubt he knows who they are but oh well.
Van Gundy has met the players multiple times; even attended shootaround.

Manning at home.

Nice Carter is making an impact somewhere. He isn't here so I don't care.

Barclays Center here I come!!!!!

Yeah, there was some saying RA could be a one and doner. I think this sprung from the rumor Duke was after him.
Do believe the one and done was in jest. However, Agbeko's recruitment by Duke was not a rumor.

At my age my game is no longer what it once was. Yet I am certain I could put up better numbers than Ikenna is putting up against that competition. Doubt he is at the level of any other bigs coming in next season.
-
The best part of this is that the next 4 games should be very winnable by us, taking us to a 22-2 record. We are doing just fine this year.

i noticed that no one seems to be throwing out AYs name for next years line up... I realize im not on very much, but, Did I miss something? Ive been so excited about him.
I would assume Yacoubou would be the frontrunner for starter at shooting guard next season.

MM with the 3

It will be nice to drown those brown Indians by 20+. Hopefully the 453 Bonnie alums and Olean snow birds are in attendance.......

Don't understand the question, and hopefully I don't.

Folks there might just be a glass ceiling for us. We can settle this argument by simply getting more wins. If we handle VCU away, we possibly break through glass ceiling...
