There are millions.$$$.of reasons, literally, to push for entrance into the BE. If you are really ambivalent about sports, at least think of the players. Membership in the BE would actually reduce the amount of travel time and lost class time by the players, in all sports participating in the BE. Trips to Olean NY, RI, UMass, Richmond, Charlotte, and potential multiple trips into Philly. Who'd miss some of that?

One thing that should draw more interest from recruits that we didn't have when Spoon was here, is Chaifetz Arena. Having an on-campus facility like this is a big deal on an urban campus.

In the article by Haenchen, he quotes a source as saying "Chris May isn’t exactly a basketball expert”. Is there any validity in that? Why would the school hire an AD without a strong basketball background if that's the only real potential revenue producer they've got? Some of you local guys, help me out here. Is the writer off base or did the school hire a bean-counter instead of a guy with some vision?
