Can you copy and paste Roy Boy's tweets?

Yea - sorry it didn't work with the link.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN THE ST. LOUIS AREA?? Now Javon Pickett decommits from Illinois. This is just out of control!

And here's the thing with Javon Pickett. He ain't getting a better opportunity than what he had at Illinois. Was his only HM offer. MORE...

Know this for a fact: you have handlers who DON'T like the new coaching staff at Illinois putting thoughts in these recruits' ears. MORE...

re: previous Tweet--and I know who they are. Can't do it now, but at some point I reserve the right to name names.

Folks...it was a no brainer that Illinois wouldn't release Tilmon before the end of this weekend. The key is what happens next week. MORE...

re: previous Tweet--they shouldn't do it THEN either. In fact, they shouldn't do it at all.

  2. I think it's going somewhat unnoticed that Crews did something pretty smart (IMO) in the second half. Have MY bring the ball up the court so you can start with your guards already in the post where we had a pretty good size advantage.

  3. Just want to throw this out there: Relax, maybe?

I don't know when we, all of a sudden, became a program that should just rattle off 25 wins a year. We just need to give these players, the freshman class especially, some time to develop. If we were honest with ourselves before this season started, we all knew this was going to be a year of bumps and bruises. Most of our players don't have much experience at the college level and need time to adjust, mature, and just get better as college players. We went 12-19 in 2010 - 2011 and I think that this freshman class has AT LEAST as much talent as that freshman class did - if not more. There's going to be growing pains with such a young and inexperienced team. I'm not saying that anyone should lower our expectations. I just think we need to give the team, and Jim Crews, more time and credit. This team will be good given some time. I say we enjoy watching these kids develop as players. The biggest disappointment, IMO, is the play of Manning, Ash, and McBroom. Austin has been disappearing at the slightest hint of defense, and Ash hasn't asserted himself as well as I would hope a player of his stature should (at least, given his recruiting grades, etc.). Mr. Manning, well, let's just move on from that topic.

Just play the freshman and sophomores. Let them get big minutes and experience. Long term benefit is there.

  4. I found this list on Rivals that had a few names not included on the list in here. I haven't been on here in months, so I'm not sure if some of these guys have been eliminated from SLU's interest list, but I figured I'd post it just in case...

  5. Since there's not a 2015 thread yet, I figured I'd post this in here. Apologies if someone has already mentioned this:

2015 SG Prentiss Nixon has received an offer from SLU. Illinois Wolves kid from Bolingbrook, IL (Dwayne Evans). 3 Star according to Scout.

  6. Here's some real recruiting news:

SLU has offered 2014 C Andre Walker of Bullis School & D.C. Assault (Clarksburg, MD). He's 6'10" 210LBS and ranked as the #12 C in the nation in the class of 2014 as well as the #85 overall player. Scout has him as a 4 Star, Rivals and ESPN as a 3 Star. VerbalCommits also shows interest from Xavier, Temple, SMU, George Mason, Cincinnati, DePaul, Delaware, Fairfield, UMass, and VCU in addition to SLU.
