    I'm telling?

    I damn got?

  2. Hmm...It looks like you missed the point of the post (actually you missed a few points)....which was to compare 2 coaches who get the most out of their players. I would love to discuss the Cards with you and the inequities of all star ballots and why you think the Cubs were equal to the Cards....but I won't because that is another point you have missed. This is a Billiken board. And finally you missed the main point of the post which was to discuss KPom view of RM being a great coach. I don't believe I saw your opinion of RM as a coach. Now that would be on point for this thread.

MrSlu, mrwiz us right. Whitey was able to produce winning teams with Hall of Famers like George Brett and MVP's like Willie McGee. He sure molded those Cardinal teams to 3 playoff teams in like 11 years. That's a little better than RM has done with his one tourney appearance in 5 years. But that's beside the point. They are both great managers regardless if they have nothing in common.

  3. If Kim English considers SLU Mizzou's litter brother, then Mizzou must bethat drug-addicted, always underachieving, sober once in a blue-moon older brother.

Huh? I disagree. I think they provide a great example for little bro SLU on what can be achieved if they really try hard. Hopefully lil bro will grow up one day, join the best conference in the country and earn top seeds in the tourney like big brother. There is plenty of room in this family for two stars.

  4. Like Kim English said on the radio with Frank and Martin a couple months back "I like SLU. They're like our little brother." let's just leave things be. Brothers shouldn't be competing against each other. We should be one big happy family.

  5. Haha mine is in a signature as a joke...except the boxing and lifting. Your pms should have been directed to the psych ward...and the funny part is you keep coming back to get your ass kicked around.

Who's PM's? You sent PM's to someone? Why? Did you tell the moderators? Always go to a teenage adult if you can't handle something and if someone is being a big meanie:(

  6. I'm just waiting for some moron to post that we have a better pep band. Not sure anyone has noticed but D1 basketball has nothing to do with academics, education or anything of the sort. Who friggin cares if players graduate. I think we have to realize that most kids that play D1 ball and graduate would have attended college anyway. And for the kids that do attend and don't graduate? They never would have attended college if not for their basketball skills. I applaud the kids that get the opportunity and take full advantage. But I don't fault the schools for choosing athletes that never make the commitment to their education. Football and basketball pay for all the other college sports programs so the real student athletes can get the true student athlete experience. And how are most D1 schools going to meet TItle IX if they don't have cash cows in men's basketball and football. D1 basketball is big business. If you relish days gone by start following the local high school team Or feel free to tune in to ESPN to catch the nation's top HS teams...........only a matter of time before you'll be filling out your HS bracket.
