Are you kiddin me? Jordair defends the best guard every game. Do you even watch these boys play? obviously not cause if you did you would no that he is the best defender by far!! It sounds to me like you dont even watch the games thats bein played, JJ's by far the best defender on the Bill's team, who plays defense? KC lol, MM lol CS lol.. The commentators said if the NCAA had a all defense team JJ would easily make it.. Stop hatin and pay attention to the game hater # 2!! You guys are a joke!! Not real sports fans.. You're right, I'm a hater. I'm a hater of throwing the ball directly to the other team. JJ's turnovers are pretty egregious. I don't mind the turnovers he (or anyone for that matter) might have if they are being aggressive. But a passive turnover where we throw it directly to the other team, yea, that's going to get a mention.

What kills me is jj's turnovers is always talked about, but there's other players with more than him so it seems like your just a hater cause your the same one who says somethin every time, so DRINK to that hater!!!

Gimme a break dude. I'm so sick of people blaming these kind of losses on the coaches. We had countless stupid mistakes....multiple missed layups, poor free throw shooting, a few bonehead turnovers, etc. Take away ONE of those and win. The kids didn't play that well this game and we lost. End of story. The coaching didn't lose the game.
Coaches mistake! Lasalle had the same problems with the exception of missed freethrows...he just had the right players on the floor and used his timeouts wisely...he got out coached!

That was huge.
I can remember 4 or 5 SLU passes that hit a La Salle player right in the numbers.
Jett had at least two that were perfect chest high passes to the wrong team
Yes he did but he wasn't the only one with turnovers...bottom line there were alot of mistakes as a team but lasalle made mistakes too...if rm had called a timeout and had the right players in the game we had a better chance of winning this game than not. IMO

That loss goes to the coaching....your best defensive player is on the bench the last 4 mins of the game...why?...you have a timeout and don't use it when they were obviously at loss at what to do for the winning shot...I don't get it!

4 Billikens in double figures tonight. A rarity for a team on which no one actually averages in double figures.
Tons of 3s. Rammer said the most in a game since 95. UMass shot 1-9 from 3 and they are a pretty good 3 point shooting team. They shoot 15 a game. It still amazes me how Majerus, even with a bad team, can still manage to defend so well against virtually any team in the country in that aspect, and why no one else can figure out how to do this too.
McCall with probably his best game as a Billiken. Did everything well. Can't wait to see him and Kwamain on the floor together.
Ellis made some good defensive plays, picked a guys pocket on the perimeter, was really active on that end. Still can't rebound but was mixing it up with UMass inside. Finally seeing his shot start to fall.
Evans has a such a good all around game. He had 3 early assists which were all great plays off the dribble. Was in foul trouble but still put up some great all around numbers.
Loe shot well tonight too. Got out to a good early start. Couldn't believe he didn't dunk on that little bunny putback he had early on. He and Ellis are getting better but they still have those soft plays that they fall back on.
Remuken still takes plays off but his play is coming back. He had a couple good short drives and rebounded well.
Jett was the only one who had an off game. Still 3 dimes and no TOs and he had a great block late in the game.
Conklin is being used in more of a specialty role which is better for us because if he is forced to the bench we are playing better ball. Did his job pushed UMass fat guy around and got some boards when we were having trouble rebounding early in the 2nd half.
Majerus was up and walking around the whole game for the first time since his injury. It was good to see his stomach exposed again pointing on the sideline.
He may have had an off game offensively but his defense was great tonight. Loved how he kept Gurley in check for most of the second half he kept him out of the paint and made him take some jump shots...Great team win for the Bills!

Sorry, I hope I didn't give off the impression that I'm disappointed in Jett-not at all! Just saying that with more games under his belt, one of those last 3 shots falls. I love the way he plays.
From my understanding he was playing with a sprained ankle during practice on sat. and is still nursing a sprained wrist from the previous game when he got football tackled in Fordham. He played a GREAT game under those conditions.

I agree. I thought overall it was a pretty well played game. Make a few 3's and we win. I'd be pissed if this season actually meant something, but I'm well passed that point. Bad turnovers by JJ and Cassity at the end, but SLU did a good job of taking care of the ball most of the game.
Great to see Willie on his feet cheering basically the entire game.
you can't blame this loss on 2 turnovers at the end of the game...mm had a critical turnover as well...the three point shot is really hurting this team and that's all there is to that. I'd rather have a few turnovers than 21 missed 3 pt shots a few of which were taken at the end of the game when it really seemed unnecessary since 3 pt shots were obviously not keeping us in the game. The turnover game is really getting old.

How many do you have? I'm glad that you have found yourself a scapegoat for the poor production of this team. My advise to you would be to look at the big picture and maybe you would see that the problems with this team go beyond Jett's turnovers. Maybe you should be taking a closer look at the more experienced players that act like they have never played basketball before. Admittedly there have been some turnovers that could/should have been avoided but as far as him having at least 2 a game ???? were you watching the one that he had 0 turnovers in...it's ok though he doesn't have to prove himself to anybody but himself so your opinion means nothing...you are obviously looking for somewhere to lay blame so I hope you feel better now.

3 of the 4 freshman and Ellis all average more minutes than Conk for the season and also had more minutes last night. All of them average more than Eck or Salecich. Not sure why you are complaining.
I personally think Jett should play less. He is a turnover machine right now that probably is hurting the development of all other players on the offensive end.
I don't know how many games you have watched or if you are basing your opinion of Jett by what you see on paper but from what I have heard about Jett is that he is too unselfish of a player. His goal is to make teammates better but if they are unwilling or unable to catch a pass and finish how is that his fault. It gets me how people seem to make statements based on what they think instead of what they know. The fact is that his turnovers are being caused by his teammates. If he was shooting 25 shots a game then we would be hearing how selfish he is and how he's trying to win a game on his own. You can't have it both ways. Jett would be a great asset to this team if given the opportunity to use the skills he possesses to help make the team better. Like I said before...this offense is working for anybody!

The problem i see in this game and every other game with the exception of a couple is that the 3 pt shot isn't there...the big men couldn't catch a pass if it was handed to them...when they do they can't make a layup if the basket bends down and says here i am...you can blame jj's turnovers if it makes you feel better...you can blame free throws...you can blame it on the refs but the bottom line is this offense is not working for anybody and neither is the defense...the coaching is horrible...i've never seen a basketball coach that has to pull a little piece of paper out of his pocket to coach a bball game...he's walking on the same eggshells RM has the players walking on...that should tell everybody just whats going on here...he recruited talented players to play with the talent he had in WR and KM...but they are not here this year...give it up...support the players you have...if the coaches would see the talent they have and change the offense to fit that talent without the talent you don't maybe some pride could be salvaged this year...do they have to be a sorry team just because they lost 2 players...that's senseless to me...this team deserves the same opportunity to be the best they can be just like the team from last year and...with the disrespect and distrust that these new players have been shown i wouldn't at all be surprised if they were thinking about leaving next year....what are they needed for if all you need is KM and WR... maybe they will be able to win by themselves next year(NOT)
