  1. Seriously- within the next 7 or 8years. But no more frequently than once in that span. I'm basing it on, more or less, pure stats AND the inherent disadvantages that the Bonnies, Fordhams, and Richmonds face as well as the large advantage that X has built in the hierarchy.

Seriously- within the next 7 or 8years.

Seriously, Willie, Brian, Kwamain and Kyle's junior year. 2 years away. Sorry to dissapoint you, but by the time these 4 graduate I highly doubt they miss the tourney 4 years in a row. Especially with quality Fosters drinking men coming in next season.

  2. The Billikens have an easy road trip to St Bonaventure this year as do most teams in the A-10. Teams fly directly into the Olean Airport via chartered jet. Its about a 20 minute drive to Olean or SBU from there. ( St Loius airport - what a hole - takes at least an hour to get out of that place after landing )

Accomodations at the Country Inn are very comfortable. Your team will have the best and the freshest food in town! All meals are made with locally grown fruit, veggies and meats. ( vs the tainted food that comes out of your fastfood Super Markets )

I feel safe in saying that your team is safer here, in Olean, than in their own mothers arms. Not like the gang infested cities that most of the A-10 teams come out of. Its the best place in the world to raise children. ( vs always in fear that your child can't walk down the street for fear of being shot in a drive by )

You have a 50/50 chance St Losers.

    GO BROWN INDIANS

[Probably not worth responding to this post but oh well...

    1. It is still half way accross the country

    2. I've never spent more than 10 15 minutes tops getting out of lambert

    3. Country INN lol/ Also I'll take the meats of the midwest any day.

    4. St. Louis is always widely considered a great place to raise children, at least outside of the inner city. Great schools great neighborhoods.

SLU finally gets over poor starts on the road and beats an inferior team 62-54

  3. Ok not to put a damper on everyone who loves Willie but he needs to work on A LOT of things...yes hes athletic and blocks shots, but he can be lazy on defense. He can have a terrible attitude as seen in the game that he back talked coach and got pulled and got an ass chewing from Kwamain. Willie can be good if he wants to...he just needs to want to

I absolutely agree that he can be lazy on defense, but this is why in my original post I said with added strength and CONDITIONING I believe he will make great strides defensively by next year. I don't think that is a crazy or bold statement at all. In fact I think most of us expect it.

  4. In my opinion Reed by his junior year will be a 1st team all conference type of player. Watching the Dayton game he had a huge impact(7 blocks) while only scoring two points and in the previous six games he scored a minimum of 9 in every game. However if he is to make this type of a jump in the next few years he will need to #1 become more consistent from the line and and 2 put on LEAN weight.

He is already averaging 8 and 6 and this is in only 22 minutes. By next year I expect him to make great strides defensively with added strength and conditioning. Another point to be taken into consideration is that he will also have an all conference point guard to get him the ball.

Thoughts on the progreession(transformation) of Reed over the next couple of years

  5. They already play one of their biggest games of the year in St. Louis already. Most BCS teams would rather book the easy wins for their non conference schedule as opposed to a mid major team that might be able to bite them. I'm guessing they feel like they don't need to schedule SLU. Why does SLU need/want to play Mizzou so bad. I don't get it.

Because if that game gets scheduled and SLU wins it is a great win for SLU. Also I think when this class is in its Junior year Mizzou is going to want nothing to do with this team.
  6. at least you know the names of three of the freshmen at SLU. i'll give you that. however you seem quite familiar with Missouri statistics. what do you really know about the billikens since you are such a HUGE fan.

I watch every game that is available(usually on channelsurfing.net) and look to this forum before EVERY game to see if thier is a link to the game. I go to school in out of state but when I came back home I went to three billiken games.
  7. I realize for some reason there is nothing but MU bashing on here. That is why I haven't posted here. And for your information I was reading this board before the change to the new site.

You need to read the post I replied to. The post was about Suggs and MU was part of the subject I made and Intelligent reply with valid points and all I get is BS!!!! Why no replies on the subject which was Suggs playing time........

Again thanks for the welcome and glad to see you guys want to talk basketball. What a joke

Sorry in advance, but I completely agree with you bballfan. I am a huge mizzou and billiken fan and yes you can be both. In my opinion Suggs would for sure be getting more minutes at SLU (especially with the absence of cotto) but not neccessarily at Mizzou they are fairing pretty well at the guard position however Anderson does use alot of bodies so you never know. And by the way Mizzou's fresh are making a huge impact (both English and Denmon are players) both averaging around 8 or 9 a game. Just like Reed, Conklin and Mitchell are impact players at slu.
