Im a student and I have never personally met him but I have heard similar things. I also overheard him at Humps trying to pick up a girl and his pickup line involved the word "scouts" and "drafted". Now Im all for hooking up but I just wish she was attractive...

From what I saw apparently the best offer the Rams got for the 33rd pick was a very low 2 and a very low 3 and they felt there was more value in taking the OT with the 33rd. If that was the best offer I would have to agree

Is this track/inner field official? Any articles? I think its a mistake. They might as well just practice on some high school's track. Cardinal Ritter is probably closer too. I can see why the athletes are excited about it, but there's a much better solution. I wonder how the reconstruction of Grand Ave and the bridge will affect their access to the track. That could be around 3 miles travel from campus (there and back) if the bridge is down and they have to take a detour. Not ideal.
Trust me the track team very much needs its own track. Their usage of other tracks is a messy situation. Last year at one point they were kicked off the Ritter track and were going out to the Clayton track and the John Burroughs track. Its not ideal and better facilities will help not only with the track teams training but with recruiting as well

Kevin Anderson, Jordan Crawford, Shamari Spears, Chris Wright, Chris Gaston (if Fordham didn't blow), Kwa, Damien Saunders, Andrew Nicholson, Lavoy Allen, maybe throw in Fernandez, Big Willie, and Aaric Murray (if he develops offensively)...DAMN
I would personally move Fernandez into the heat of that discussion. But I think hes nasty so Im probably biased. Is it ok to have a man crush on some guy who plays for another school in the conference?

On the college basketball rumors page they have Brad Sodeberg as one of the names listed in connection to the Iowa job. Hes right in the middle of the list. They wouldnt actually hire him would they?

So I work in Clayton (the building with Ruth's Chris) Im leaving work to watch the game. Its just an internship and I dont know that area too well. Is there a good sports bar type place to watch a game down there?

I loved that win as much as anybody but I felt obligated to recognize that dunk against us. I dont know if I have ever seen a filthier dunk in person. I mean it looks like that kid dislocated his shoulder throwing down. If thats not on ESPN's top 10 Im giving up ESPN for Lent

I'm not sure how old you guys are...maybe its an age thing but I'm 22 and neither me or any other person I have talked to has found those uniforms attractive. To quote my roommate "Nothing says don't come play basketball here like those uniforms". I would never ever want to play in that thing

I think he needs to apply for a medical redshirt. Given the fact he has to leave school for a medical issue, he should be able to get one. It's that or he loses this year in terms of eligibility.
No I do not believe thats the case. Jeff last played in the Notre Dame game which was the 8th game of the season (including the exhibition). Thats under the limit for being eligible for a regular redshirt. Now if Jeff were to come back next year as a RS Freshman and had another serious injury over the next 4 years that caused him to miss a season then he would have to apply for a medical redshirt, which would grant a 6th year of eligibility for Jeff.
I went through the redshirt process in college and thats how it was explained to me

So what is his status? Since he will not be enrolled in classes, could he still save his redshirt? Or does sitting out this semester constitute a type of redshirt?
I believe the rule is that you have 5 years to complete your 4 years of eligibility. That means this would be his redshirt year and next year he will just be considered a RS Freshman

I am not sure what goes on on these "official" visits but could Marcus Relphorde play a part in these recruitment? I am sure he could talk about his tenure at SLU and playing for Majerus and I am worried that this could become a negative.

Relphorde could have an influence on Loe and it is a concern but Im not too worried about it. Loe is friends with Christian and Harriman which I would imagine will have a greater pull than Relphorde who Loe will have been around for all of 24-48 hours

It also wont help playing Mo State when school isnt in session. That means there will be about 15 students there. There will be as many Mo State students in town as SLU students

I would say Jon and Cory are at least 6-7 possibly 6-8. Christian is right around 6-3/6-4, hes a little taller than Cassity. Justin may be 5-9, hes a pretty short dude, and I would say Jeff is 6-5. Those are my impressions

Well just to get back to the incident. Im a student at SLU and lived in both Marchetti East and West during my tenure there. Almost every time I walked out onto my balcony I thought about climbing over the balcony railing and how scary/dangerous that would be. I didnt know this student directly but I do know one or two people who know this student. My heart goes out to him and his family and friends. Lets hope this is an isolated incident that never happens again

Well if this is really happening then I promise all of you that as a self respecting SLU student who will be done and graduated with my last final on Thursday that I will do my absolute best to close down Lacledes in style. To honor the closing I will be as unclassy, disrespectful, and trashy as possible.
To add to the nostalgia I will just say that my favorite Lacledes memory was walking towards the mens room only to hear that two people (one male/one female) and there were shouts and groans coming from the stall. Good times...
