But how were the hookers and meth?
The meth was at MY hotel! I stayed at the Red Roof Inn Columbus - Grove City. I booked my room through Expedia. It was $38 a night. It came with Free Continental Breakfast (coffee, jiuce, Bagels, Pastries, Assorted Muffins) The rooms were refundable up to 3PM Friday-should I change my mind.
Grove City is about 6 miles away and was a straight shot down the road. It took about 7 minutes to travel. There are about 5 or 6 other hotels within walking distance: Best Western, Days Inn, Holliday Inn etc. There was a lot of dinning choices, many within walking distance. TGI Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays, O'Charlies, Olive Garden, Long Horn, Panera, QDoba, Starbucks, Wendys-just to name a few. It was also close to shopping:Target, Kolhs, CVS, Walgreens.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was located on the first floor on the end of the building closest to the main road. It was quite, clean and comfortable. We had a small frig and a microwave. The internet was free.
Friday Night or rather early Saturday morning as we were driving back I was commenting on the air smelling like ammonia. As we made the turn into our hotel was saw emergency lights. As we approached the hotel, there were several firetrucks, police cars, rescue and crime scene tape around our hotel parking lot. First thought after seeing the place roped off was that something terrible had happened.... My friend got out of my car and walked onto the property to find out the scoop and was told that someone had been "making drugs" in there room. My friend said, "Oh, meth?" and the responder replied, "Yes, meth, you must know it". We both were laughing hysterically, one because we were feeling pretty good and 2) Dude-we are from St. Louis! The DEA was there in full force in there hazmat suits carrying out stuff and hosing down things. Everyone who was in that area of the building had to be evacuated and were given some sort of customer adjustment.
The deskclerk said the woman making the meth was in her early 20's and attractive. After he checked her in, he said he stepped outside for a smoke and was watching her carry all her stuff up to her room. He said he was thinking, "damn, she has a lot of ###### for one night". Who knew??
After this is all said and done, I would still stay there or in that area again. It was cheap, convenient and offered lots of food choices and everything was easily accessable- I don't think the portable Meth-Lab is just an isolated incident, it could happen anywhere in this day and age.

I had a great time meeting everyone last night! We stayed out a little to late and drank a little too much. (Thanks K-Shoe and Dan) It's going to be a long, long day! See everyone for pre-game festivities! Let's bring home a win!

I agree! It was a great feeling being a Billiken! The Buckeye Fans were phenominal! Very hospitable! Great party! I am looking forward to Sunday's game!

Just got into Columbus and checked into the super fabulous Knights Inn! Half the lights work and there is a hole in the wall...but top flight the rest of the way! Will definitely be at the pre game event but willing to meet up with others before that. Just feel free to PM me. Looking forward to tomorrow's game!
Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite! LOL.

I applied for tourney ticks through the school and was notified that I got them. However I can't go. 2 ticks for fri and if they win for Sunday. I believe I was charged $80 or 85. Anyone want them for face value?
If you sell your Friday ticket (85$) then the person that buys it MOST LIKELY won't be able to pick up the Sunday ticket. They are being strict about asking for ID's and the names matching up with the person picking them up and the purchaser! You will probably just have eat the second charge for your Sunday tickets, since you won't be there to pick them up.

Finally got a confirmation email. Still no debit from my bank.weird. Now I am freaking out now b/c the chick on the phone had no idea about anything. I just check my bank account and they haven't debited it out! I am going to call them back in a bit and double check! I also receive no email confirmation-like she said I would! I should have know, since she disconnected me after waiting for 8 minutes and then I had to call again. Frustrated!

My son is 18 and going to SLU next year. He is down for meeting girls!For a mother of a college studnet Im not sure.
But for men above the age of 18 I hear there will be a lot of hot college tail running around Columbus that weekend.

Billikens win Friday night-I won't go to the games on Saturday, so what's there to do in Columbus? Anyone?

cheapest room was 700$ bucks through Holiday Inn website. It was sold out on all other websites. I got a room 8 miles out at Red Roof Inn. It was cheap, has fairly good reviews, Free Breakfast and INTERNET! The best part is I can cancell up to 3pm on 3/16 and get a full refund. I can also check out on Sat. w/o loosing out on a huge amount of $$$. It works for me!
Getting tickets tomorrow!
I would like to come to any pregame/post game parties.

Let's not forget my Alyssa and Candace-graduating Sainsations. Alyssa was/is the first and only 4 year Sainsation. I am glad she was able to go out in style last night cheering on the Billikens at the NCAA tourney! She loved every minute of it! I am looking forward to coming to the games with her next year and traveling to another NCAA tourney! GO Bills!
