Its not that he is a baby. As a coach you have to pick the right player to make an example of in front of the team. I do not believe Ian was the right choice for this. Pick a fight with one of the seniors either VN or AD. Everyone knows that AD was the leader on that team. There is no doubt to me that the big greek might be a little weak though, but once again it is up to the coach to know his players.

We have seen Ian play his last game at SLU. Whether he gets drafted or not he is gone. Our beloved coach could of cost us yet another player this coming year, and this loss will make us a .500 team at best. The last game of the season left a bad taste in Ian’s mouth. Word is that Coach really laid into Ian after the loss to St. Joe in the tourney. No doubt that was a bad game for us, but why single Ian out in front of the team? He probably had the best game out of any of our players, granted that’s not saying much. If those two losses to St. Joe should be blamed on anyone it should have been placed solely on Soderberg’s shoulders. He was out coached and this is supposedly one of his strengths. Bottom line is Ian does not want to return to SLU to be treated like crap. I believe that Ian will have to be recruited all over again to return to SLU’s campus. Given Soderbergs track record as a recruiter and his relationship with Ian we could be in real trouble.
