The A10 should be significantly better, and the next few years are looking good too. Based on what I'm seeing from us, XU, Duquesne, and UMass, I'm very optimistic about the conference's future. GWash will be down this year, but along with St. Joe's, they'll remain one of the stronger programs despite an occasional down year. Top to bottom, the only programs I'm disappointed with (based on what they're doing to improve) are Charlotte and St. Bonaventure. Neither have shown the drive to improve their schedules, staffs, or recruiting. Even Richmond will be older and have another year adjusted to the Princeton game. LaSalle might also be lumped in with Charlotte and SBU just because the program seems a little stagnant. Everyone else seems to be working to improve and restore the conference.
Any mouth breathers still out there think we should have gone to the Valley? Those voices will be silenced, and Bernie and the rest of his staff at the P-D will have to write nice little pieces about how they were wrong.
How in the Hell is St. Joe's going to have a down year?

I would say an NIT bid at worst for the Hawks this year.
As for Charlotte, we lost a lot of seniors, but only one will be missed and that is EJ Drayton. Alexander ballhogged and jacked up too many shots, and there were two duds in the middle. Also Jerell Jamison will be somewhat missed, since he was a defensive stopper and a decent rebounder.
The newcomers will contribute as much or even more than our seniors did last year.

Give me Nivins, Mitchell, Will Daniels, or Brian Roberts. I would take any.

Larry still stays hurt on a regular basis.

If he leaves I seriously doubt he will draw top 20 attention. With the developing game of the rest of the world, there seem to be more and more foreign players each year in the draft.
Those + the kids that were good enough in HS but can't because of the Age limit hurts teams selecting A-10 players in the early to mid 1st round.

Is it me or does Tommie Liddell's game have an uncanny resemblance to that of Larry Hughes.
His 10-0 run in the last five minutes helped you guys get a big road win in Philly.

Watching the Mizzou/illinois game cuz nothing else is on and Mizzou just lost hell yea, but they mentioned the SLU/Missouri State game and how it was Missouri State that paid for the TV for the game which ended up costing them the game. LOL. I heard it before this, but it is still funny.

BTW, The University of Wisconsin System makes all the UW schools play each other. Pretty sweet deal.

I don't know Lutz coaching has been pretty ######. Good thing to note that all the teams we've lost are doing pretty good except for the fact that Syracuse blows one in the dome to Drexel. Good note though, North Texas did beat (24th in RPI Western Kentucky tonight). Good luck to you guys and I hope you destroy the Tar holes (since they will never play us even in our down years) at Scott Trade.

Wasn't trying to cut you guys down, but since you want to play hard, Too bad there were more Black and Orange shirts in the ScottTrade Center for last nights Missouri State @ SLU game than tonite for the Illinois/Mizzou game.

It is Sickening to see ScottTrade filled with Orange and dirty black. I think there are more Illi fans that Mizzou fans btw.

I must say, I watched the video, and saw the gallerys on scout and another site And I MUST SAY:
DAMN, Nice Arena. Props to you guys, you're going to have fun in that place. Love the layout, and the facilties (practice courts, medical, locker rooms).
Easily the 2nd best looking Arena in the A10 behind Xavier's Cintas Center.
Now hopefully we can fair better there than we did in Scottrade.
