  1. >i dont mind if ian doesnt lose any weight, but that baby fat

    >has to be turned into solid muscle and transfered to his

    >chest and shoulders. then you'd have something.

I agree with you totally!! Ian needs to redistribute his weight to his upper body. The result would be something amazing!!!! he is my favorite player on the team!

  2. >I don't see where playing in the Bonner league is a "must"

    >for Ian. My quess is a couple of months at home with his

    >parents and younger brother, plus taking in Athens' Olympic

    >scene, will do his mind more good than running up and down

    >the Bonner League court rarely touching the ball!

that's interesting! I wonder if his little brother is a basketball player, and if so, in the future we could recruit him onto our team...just a thought. His little brother is probably my age (almost 15)!!! I do think that he should play on the Greek olympic basketball team, and I agree that the Bonner League might not do him much good...he does have to lose some weight, though...maybe like 5-10 pounds.

  3. SLU's official athletic website has an online store to purchase Billiken wear and accessories. The shorts aren't exactly basketball shorts, but they are very close! They're mesh shorts that say SLU on them. Here's the link to the online store:

you might also want to try the store "Sports Fan-Attic" at West County Mall. I've heard from other people on this site that they sell Billiken t-shirts there, so there must be shorts as well.

  4. >i honestly dont pay much attention to the women's program.

    >the last couple of high school seasons were probably katie

    >dierdorf, steph lisch and the rudolphi girl from carlyle.

    >now katie is going to michigan. but my gosh, we lost to

    >indiana state on both lisch and rudolphi? that is sad.

I know Katie Dierdorf. She goes to my school and is a senior. I'm only in 8th grade. She is the star player of our varsity basketball team. She is very good, and is also a very nice person! It's just too bad that she isn't coming to SLU!

  5. >I know these are not what you were originally looking for,

    >but I picked up a couple SLU t-shirts at the Sports Fanattic

    >in West County Mall. One is grey with "Saint Louis

    >Billikens" in blue on the front along with the Billiken

    >head. The other is white with "Saint Louis Billikens" in

    >blue on the chest along with the Billiken. And on the back

    >is the Billiken.

do you know if they still have those shirts at West County Mall??? and do you know if they have sweatshirts too??? thanks!

  6. >I think most of the problem can be tied to comments by the

    >before it is aoo over!!

he just needs to charge to the basket and score! don't stop!!!

  7. >You are mistaken. The Billikens beat Tulane last year:

    >76-74 in double overtime at Savvis.

    >

    >Tulane did beat SLU in the first round of the 2002 C-USA

    >Tourney after the Bills had beat them in New Orleans less

    >than a week earlier.

oh yeah...that's right! I was thinking of two years ago...stupid me!
