success or failure comes down to Wins & Loses.
That is the only standard one should use.

This is a great discussion. I did a quick calculation
just on the attendance differences from Spoonhour's
best years compared to the attendance for the last two years.
The attendance difference between 95, 96 and 05, 06 is
8673/gm. Given 16 games/year at $15 per seat gives us
$2,081,520 extra per year.
Add in the extra revenue streams, just in the NCAA tourny if
a team wins two games they get approx 1/2 mil, you could
get $10 - $15 mil extra.

Could KL learn to shoot right handed? What problems are involved in learning to switch shooting hands. He could use his right hand for 10 - 15 ft shots. I know that guy from Ohio State shoots free throws with his opposite hand because of an injury.

I agree. The fact is, when they want to this team still plays at
a very high level. They just can't do it for the full
40 minutes. At one point in Sat. game they had a 14 point lead.

I agree. My preseason prediction was 23 - 7. I had the MO St. game as a lost, so I'm one up on the win side. However we may stumble against a team like Mississippi or X.

My brother and I drove up and attended the game. It was a
great game and experience. What an emotionally
game. Had seat right behind the bench and yell
myself hoarse. Interesting to watch how D. Polk
is the unofficial captain of this team.

This is a great point. I paid $10 last year to watch streaming of
the SLU v Hawaii game last year. Was money well spend. Also
easy to do, just setup an account with Hawaiian Telecom. If
Hawaii U can do, why not SLU. I can still login and watch the game.

I watched Harrellson play 4 games this past week
and he is a real stud. Also, with very soft
hands and good instincts around the basket.
