Francis Okoro Commits to SLU

Oregon sophomore Francis Okoro announced he will transfer to Saint Louis University. Okoro is a 6’9 Power Forward. Francis is from Normal, IL and will have two years of eligibility at SLU.

NCAA Tournament Canceled

The NCAA and the A-10 decided to cancel their tournaments out of concern of the spreading Coronavirus.

Billikens get the Double Bye

The Billikens beat the Bonnies 72-49 on Saturday to give them the Double Bye in the A-10 Tournament. The Billikens first game will be at 1:30 on Friday against St. Bonaventure, George Mason, or St. Joseph’s.

Senior Night

Saturday is the Billikens final regular season home game against St. Bonaventure. Tip off is at 7pm. Be sure to come out to give thanks to our seniors, Tay Weaver and student managers.

Two games to go..

With two games remaining, SLU can still finish anywhere from second to eighth in the A-10. The Billikens final road game of the season is on Wednesday at 6pm against George Mason.

Thatch to Redshirt

Coach Ford today on the radio indicated that Fred Thatch will apply for a medical redshirt this season and intends to return to court next year for the Billikens. We all wish Fred a healthy recovery.

SLU falls to UMass

SLU was up by as many as 16 but once again struggled to hold a big lead. Goodwin led the Billikens with 22 points and 14 rebounds. The Billikens look to bounce back on Friday against VCU.
