After seeing Steve`s post about TCU and Tulane looking MWC,maybe C-USA goes on the attack and tries to lure the Big East teams. So instead of losing Cincy and Louisville, maybe the new C-USA will add Syracuse,BC,Rutgers,Pitt,WV,and UConn. So for fun let`s say you have a say, would you rather join with the BE football teams,or the bball teams(Villanova,Seton Hall,Georgetown,Providence, and St.John`s?

If the Big East football schools want to split with the Big East non-fooball schools, then don't you think that before they made a deal with Conference USA to join it (and I can't see that happening, as the Big East is currently already a BCS conference and C-USA has never been) they would ask C-USA to eject its four non-football members?

Therefore, Marquette, Saint Louis, DePaul, and Charlotte would then be looking for a conference. They would most likely hook up with the jilted non-football schools in the Big East.

We already are complaining about the turn C-USA has taken towards emphasizing football and diluting the basketball strength it was founded on, so do we want C-USA's non-football schools to be red-headed step-sisters in a mega-powerful BCS conference?

I really can`t see us connected with a football first conference, and really hope we can stay with Marquette,DePaul, and Charlotte.Hook up with the BE bball schools.Basically tried to throw out a twist.Maybe with TCU and Tulane heading a new wave of realignment, and what that might mean to schools like Houston,Southern Miss, and UAB.
