BLIKNS Posted July 30, 2003 Share Posted July 30, 2003 One thing about Columbia that I can`t understand is,why is Hickman still open.How old is that school?Why do so many students go there and not Rock Bridge?Why haven`t they built a new school?Maybe living in Blue Springs has spoiled me with a great school district. Taj79 Posted July 30, 2003 Share Posted July 30, 2003 Not too long ago, almost the same thing was written on this coast, but the name of the town was Newark and the state-affiliated unversity was YouDee ...... University of Delaware. I also find it not surprising that Madison, Wisconsin was also mentioned. There seem to be alot of college towns that come and go on this list for the very reasons that are attributed, in this edition, to Columbia. When I was looking to move here, I was told to keep going north and live in Newark. I jsut didn't want that drive on Interstate 95 ... which is bad enough on a good, short day!
