Anyway, it is the speculation that Louisville is the next one to go to the ACC. Many have said this before. There is also discussion on Notre Dame, listing some of some others points as well. billiken_roy Posted July 10, 2003 Share Posted July 10, 2003 i think a big point of the c-usa release yesterday was to alert the big east and louisville that c-usa will inact their "exit fee" on louisville if they decide to go to the big east before conference usa has a chance to cut their own deal with the big east. i am sure it slows the ability of louisville to just run off own their own quickly. as long as louisville is still a part of conference usa it sure makes the "merger" with the big east an easier proposition.
