Mobile-iken
New article. The only new news concerns a conference call this morning. http://www.charlotte.com/mld/charlotte/spo...ges/6264515.htm
davidnark
This article, as well as the NY Times article, states that "some Big East colleges that play basketball but do not field football teams would then merge with Conference USA basketball colleges to form another conference." Which Big East basketball schools would not join and why?
cheeseman
Temple - they are either going or could go to the A10.
Quality Is Job 1
Temple is not a Big East basketball school. Temple is a member of the Big East for football (but not for much longer) and a member of the Atlantic 10 for other sports. Is it your opinion that the article is suggesting Temple will remain a member of the Big East for football and then join the new C-USA/Big East football federation? thetorch
No way Temple is out of everything. My only guess would be Notre Dame not coming along.
