davidnark
Didn't Fisher also make the honor role?

Quality Is Job 1
It was Josh Fisher, not Anthony Drejaj, who made honor roll.

tseugnekillib
thicks, my source for the five names I posted was the SLU's press release dated May 29. It specifically lists CB, IO, AD, CS and RV. You, Nark and BigMac may be thinking of the annual late season bball game where SLU's student-athletes with gpa's over 3.00 are introduced at half-time. (IMHO, the best half-time show of the season.) My aging memory tells me that in addition to my previously posted names, that Reggie Bryant and Josh Fisher were also named that day. My guess is that the half-time list of names is based on the first academic semester, while the May 29 conference honor roll list is based on the total 2002-2003 academic year. Quality Is Job 1
The poster in West Pine listed C-USA academic honorees for all sports. The names of the men's basketball players that I saw listed (and remember) were Varner, Sloan, Fisher, and Braun. Whether the honors were for first semester, second semester, or both, I don't know. Basketbill
as what I heard SLU not being interested in a certain player, because they "wanted someone who could start next year"......to me that means juco or impact freshman, I think a juco is mor probable.
