unlvrebelx
I'm not sure what impact he had at SLU, but H was always a fan favorite at UNLV, and being a kid from Vegas it was special for us. UNLV fans were sad when he left UNLV. H Waldman - Rising Star
Major Majerus
He left a big impact here - probably SLU's best point guard in the opinion of the lucky guys who got to watch him for 2 years. He was a big favorite. Thanks for the update.
TheBand
Thank you for posting this update on H. He is still my all-time favorite Billiken. You weren't sure of his impact at SLU...it was tremenous. The transfer of H Waldmen led directly to back to back NCAA trips in 94 & 95. The Billikens first trips to the dance in 37 years are all because of H. Without his presence at point, the Bills would have been severely lacking in that spot and wouldn't have been as good as they were and would not have made the dance. Billiken Rich
I think it took H's team mates a solid year to figure out that the ball is going to come through traffic to them at any time so they'd better be ready. I seem to remember a bunch of times that balls would fly right past the hands of people who just didn't think H could thread the needle to them. The best passer in Billiken History? Certainly since I've been watching them....
