davidnark
Does anyone have an MP3 file of the band playing "When the Saints Go Marchin In"? I would love to use it as my ringtone on my cell phone. A file must be available somewhere because it plays in the background on the band website at http://pages.slu.edu/org/pepband/ Thanks! SluSignGuy
Nark..As the founder of the first Billiken site I am disappointed. Get back to your HTML roots buddy. By right clicking, then clicking view page source I was able to find it for you: http://www.geocities.com/sluband/multimedia/saints.mp3
davidnark
Steve, what did you do to it. You maxed out the bandwidth capacity.
Billikenbooster
Steve that site is currently unavailable. Guess you have now thousands of Billikens.com members trying to download it onto their phones as we speak! mhg
SluSignGuy
I wish we had thousands of members....Wait, maybe I don't. Right now my only Billikens.com hopes are to make it on the old server until May 12th (when Steve's school year ends, this site has way way too many posts). davidnark
Well, if anyone else has the file, I would still appreciate it.
SluSignGuy
Nark, just wait a few hours, or just download it sometime in the next couple of days. Geocities caps bandwidth pretty quick, and especially with that MP3 chipping away at the bandwidth, I wouldn't be surprised if 10 hits from different people took it down. Just try right clicking and saving the target of the link I posted sometime tomorrow.
DeSmetBilliken
David- Three years ago the band was recorded during a game. I have the CD and also have all the tracks on my computer, supposedly in MP3 format. I don't know how to put it on a website, so the best option would be for me to send you an e-mail with the file attached.
SluSignGuy
I got it to dave via e-mail. But he may want the other tracks too.
Major Majerus
It's time the band learned the Billiken Rag - written by John Starks, the son of the printer who was Scott Joplin's publisher. Maybe they should learn the Vatican Rag too...although the words are mightier than the melody.
bonwich
Bow your heads with great respect and genuflect, genuflect, genuflect! (And, of course, the Jesuits' favorite line, especially in the context of selling hospitals:) You can do anything you want if you have cleared it with the Pontiff 2,4,6,8 Let's all transubstantiate! davidnark
Signguy sent me the file last night, and I edited the MP3 to remove the quiet parts at the beginning and end. It sounds great as the ringtone on my phone. If anyone else wants the file to use as a ringtone, send me a PM.
Major Majerus
I have Tom's complete works on CD (3) and listen whenever I need cheering up.
slu72
from the band? I'd order one.
