Trey Green is the fourth Billiken in double figures, averaging 11.9 ppg for the year. HoosierPal Posted December 2 Posted December 2 From the Media Guide: The Bills are looking to snap an eight-game skid in nonconference road games. SLU’s last road noncon win was Nov. 30, 2021, at Boise State (86-82 in OT). It appears that LMU will be without their starting 6'6" Point Guard Jan Vide. He has missed the Lions last four games, and they are 2-2 in those match-ups. He still leads the Lions in total assists with 30, playing four games less than his replacement at PG. He also totaled only 12 TO's in those five games he has played which is an excellent A/TO ratio. He remains second in scoring average at 15.2 ppg, just behind Amey's 15.4 ppg. Vide saddled to the bench is a big plus for the Bills tonight. Quote

Crewsorlose Posted December 2 Posted December 2 This game is absolutely massive. They've had three days to rinse an awful ending to Stanford game. Absolutely need to play with urgency and precision, especially in the first ten minutes. Win by 20, get your mojo back. TMBilliken2013 and Adman 2 Quote
cgeldmacher Posted December 2 Posted December 2 I think if we just play the game we have been playing all season and, try to, limit turnovers, we will be fine. Quote

We limited turnovers the last 2 games and still found a way to play poorly. They need to show they can shoot the ball outside of Chaifetz, too. billiken_roy, Bay Area Billiken, Chrissy April and 3 others 6 Quote
Dr Bird Posted December 2 Posted December 2 This game will tell us a lot about the prospects for a great season. I want to see more production from Avila and Paul O. I bet there were many times over the past 2 games where Kalu is thinking he could be contributing. Quote

White Pelican Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Gotdammit! I'm still mightily pissed about the Pitt game. Just can't let it go. By the way, some scientists believe there are multiple universes, perhaps even infinite ones. I'm beginning to think that SLU baskeball has fallen thru a tear in the space/time continuum and are in a universe where they can now MAKE free throws. I mean, there is just no other explanation.
