I refuse to believe Bethune-Cookman didn’t benefit from lingering Auburn team issues related to Bruce Pearl’s departure. Quote

OkieBilliken Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Well the wife has an accounting conference in Indianapolis this week so I thought I would tag along and make a quick trip up to see the #1 team in America. I am not a huge fan of old round-shaped venues. Quote
SLU_Lax Posted November 4 Posted November 4 I think it’s a great venue for basketball. When it’s packed, it gets loud and is a lot of fun. Quote

Got there 20 mins before tip and drove back to Indy right after the game. Very energetic and super loud crowd. Everyone I talked to was convinced this is their year for a national title. On Thursday, B-C lost to Miami 101-61, so 40 points. Before they meet us, B-C has games at Dayton, at Indiana, and at Miz-zou, so we’ll have a much better idea of what kind of team they are before they get here. Quote

cgeldmacher Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Santa Clara has a Net ranking of 57 and that is before the win at Xavier. The win over Xavier will push them into the top 50. A Quad One win is defined as beating a 1-30 Net team at home, a 1-50 Net team at a neutral site, and a 1-75 Net team on the road. Hopefully, they hold their top 50 Net ranking until we play them in a few weeks. Quote
