deltalucas Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Didn’t see a thread for this yet. It runs from 6-7 so there’s still time but there’s barely anywhere here so far. Quote
deltalucas Posted October 28 Author Posted October 28 They’ve been doing a lot of transition work but nothing crazy of note so far. Trey and Brady both hit a few nice threes and no one could stop Dion’s drives for awhile as well cgeldmacher and BIG BILL FAN 2 Quote
TheChosenOne Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Thanks for bringing awareness to it in case any students still want to catch practice. Any observations are also appreciated for those of us who can't wait for next week! deltalucas 1 Quote
deltalucas Posted October 28 Author Posted October 28 Looks like they’re starting a scrimmage. Kalu hasn’t taken part in any of the practice but everyone else (including the redshirting freshmen) has been active billikenbill 1 Quote
deltalucas Posted October 28 Author Posted October 28 Dion tripped and went down hard. It all happened fast but he might have accidentally been kicked in the back of the head. He got up by himself and is talking with the trainer now. I think he’ll be okay but he’s taking it slow. He gave a thumbs up to a teammate Quote

deltalucas Posted October 29 Author Posted October 29 Practice over! Trey Green was definitely the highlight for me, he was a monster on offense. It felt like he couldn’t miss. Jax Kerr and Brady Dunlap also stood out and Amari played great defense as always. Not much new information gained from tonight but it was fun to see the guys play. I’m ready for Monday. thetorch, BIG BILL FAN, gabriel and 5 others 8 Quote

SLU_Lax Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I was excited to see how well Jax moved in the open court and how well he seemed to shoot. He will be a competent backup for 10 or so minutes a game. I wasn’t there tonight, but this was my impression from “Midnight Madness”. Quote

People came and went over the course of the hour but at its peak maybe 40-50 people were there? That is including the dance team who showed up with ~15 people and some parents who tagged along with their students. I was expecting more since they were giving out Chick Fil A but I guess it was a tough sell for a rainy Tuesday night. Quote

Thank you! They seemed to be around the same height to each other with the son maybe being a bit shorter if I remember correctly. It is a hard to compare since they were sitting on the side talking to Corey Tate most of the time so I'm sure there is some variability in that assessment. Quote
Pistol Posted October 30 Posted October 30 FWIW, Brock is listed at 6-8 in most places, which is the same height Anthony was listed at in his playing days. Quote
thetorch Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Bonner was about 6'6 in his playing days. Brock is similar. Neither is 6'8. The hope is Brock has another growth spurt. Quote
