BLIKNS Posted June 20 Posted June 20 The Pac 12 has till July 1st to add a full member , to get to 8 , to retain FBS status.. Sacremento State joined the Big West, so they are out of the running at this time. Texas State seems to be he favorite... Guess the Pac 12 wants Texas footprint maybe... With the additions from the Mountain West , and Gonzaga( basketball only) . They could add, but at this time would they be a Power Conference or a Mid Major??? Quote
ACE Posted June 20 Posted June 20 In football, they will pretty much be irrelevant. In basketball, they will likely be a multi-bid league which makes them a "major." In basketball, we're looking at 6 conferences (one of those being the new Pac 12) which you can count on to be multi-bid leagues and every other league typically being a one-bid league. Quote

cgeldmacher Posted June 23 Posted June 23 If I was the AD and Lindenwood, I'd at least make a call. Doesn't hurt to ask. Quote

OkieBilliken Posted June 25 Posted June 25 Texas State to the Pac-12. What a weird world in which we live Quote
Compton Posted June 27 Posted June 27 In terms of basketball I think the new Pac 12 is lined up to be the best mid-major. Outside the P5, but above the American, A10, and diminished Mountain West and West Coast. Quote
